The lamp for a vehicle includes a lamp housing, a bezel part housed in the lamp housing, a light source part including a board positioned in the bezel part, and a plurality of light sources positioned on the board, a lens part positioned on the lamp housing, and that externally irradiates light generated by the light source part, and a reflection part positioned on a rear side corresponding to an opposite direction to a front side that faces the lens part from the light source part to be spaced apart from the light source part, and that reflects the light irradiated from the light source part to the front side, and the board is formed of a transparent material having light transmittance such that a portion of the light generated by the plurality of light sources reaches the reflection part.

A vehicular lighted exterior door handle system includes a lighted exterior door handle assembly having a light module, which includes a circuit board and at least three linearly arranged illumination sources at the circuit board. With the lighted exterior door handle assembly mounted at the door of the equipped vehicle, and when the illumination sources are actuated with the door of the equipped vehicle unlocked, the light module emits light in a first pattern. With the lighted exterior door handle assembly mounted at the door of the equipped vehicle, and when the illumination sources are actuated with the door of the equipped vehicle locked, the light module emits light in a second pattern that is different from the first pattern.

A taillight for a motor vehicle, comprising a light guide element, a light source, and a light emission surface. The light source emits light in the direction of a first end of the light guide element. The light guide element is designed to guide the light from the first end in the direction of a second end. The light guide element is designed to output a part of the light between the first end and the second end through the light emission surface to an environment of the taillight. The light guide element has a curved region in which the light guide element is curved away from the light emission surface. The taillight also comprises a reflector designed to reflect light emitted by the light guide element in the direction of the light emission surface. The reflector being arranged directly adjacent to the curved region.

The subject inventive arrangement produces a light guide that may be of any curved shape that produces and obtains a lighting appearance of a uniform or homogenous lit appearance at the light exit face by using a single light source and a single light-reflective coupler. The present invention is premised on a light guide system that includes a light guide; a light source; and a coupler positioned at the light source that is configured to receive generated light. The coupler is adapted to produce a collimated light beam from the light source. A stepped reflective surface is formed along a light reflecting face of the light guide by a plurality of light reflective facets and a plurality of lateral surfaces, which are configured to receive and direct collimated light towards a light-emitting exit face. In addition, a number of light reflective facets are configured to collect collimated light at the light reflecting face's middle portion in intensity amounts less than collimated light at end portions of the light reflecting face.

The incident surface refracts outgoing light in a direction away from an optical axis of outgoing light, along a direction orthogonal to the optical axis. The emission surface refracts incident light in a direction away from a centerline of incident light, along a direction orthogonal to the centerline.
