A downlight fixing structure is provided. The downlight fixing structure comprises a housing and a spring. The housing is for accommodating light components. The housing has an insertion lock structure on a side of the housing. The spring comprises a coil portion, a head portion, and a tail portion. The coil portion, the head portion and the tail portion are formed by the same metal wire. The head portion is inserted into the insertion lock structure.

A downlight apparatus has a major housing, multiple hook slots, and multiple hooks. The major housing has a surface ring and a main cup. The main cup contains a LED plate and a driver circuit. The LED plate emits light through an opening of the surface ring. The multiple hook slots are located surrounding the main cup. The multiple hooks have bottom hooks inserted and locked in corresponding hook slots respectively and have top hooks to fix the major housing on a ceiling.

A retrofit assembly for retrofitting an existing light fixture having an existing housing includes a base, a first mounting member selectively repositionable relative to the base, the first mounting member including a first flange configured to selectively couple the first mounting member to the existing housing, a second mounting member selectively repositionable relative to the base, the second mounting member including a second flange configured to selectively couple the second mounting member to the existing housing, and a lighting element coupled to the base.

An illumination device including: a light source including a light emitting element that emits light; a first optical element that transmits the light; a second optical element that transmits the light transmitted by the first optical element; a holder that holds the second optical element; and a spring member including at least one spring portion that generates spring force by being deflected, the spring member pressing the second optical element against the holder with the spring force to hold the second optical element against the holder, wherein the first optical element and the second optical element deflect a center portion in a long edge direction of the at least one spring portion with respect to ends in the long edge direction of the at least one spring portion.

A line lamp is provided, which includes a power connection assembly, a light transmissive housing and one or more lamp lines. Lamp lines includes a fixed end electrically connected with the power connection assembly and a free end provided with a first connecting member, free end, and the light transmissive housing is provided with a second connecting member matched with the first connecting member. The first connecting member is a first suction member; the second connecting member is a second suction member, and the first suction member is in suction connection with the second suction member. An adjustable assembly for an adjustable downlight fixture assembly with a heatsink comprising a plurality of cooling fins that is connected to a mounting bracket where the heatsink is tiltably engaged with the mounting bracket. The heatsink is configured to receive a light source and may tilt within a confined space of the downlight fixture assembly up to 45 degrees from a vertical plane. The mounting bracket comprises a first side wall and a second side wall with a front wall connected between them where the first side wall and second side wall are connected to a rotation ring that is rotatably engaged with the frame of the downlight fixture.

A light converter comprises: a solid-state optical member configured to absorb light of an excitation wavelength and generate light of an emission wavelength; a base; and a mechanical fastener attaching the solid-state optical member to the base. The light converter may be part of a light engine, a phosphor wheel or an automotive headlight. A method of manufacturing such a phosphor wheel is also provided.

A safety endcap assembly to be arranged at an end of an LED lamp. It has an endcap base element, an endcap cover element, a connector pin, a contact element for connecting to the connector pin to LEDs, and a switch button. The endcap cover element is moveable between a protracted position and a retracted position, and the switch button is moveable between a first position and a second position. The switch button is arranged to disconnect contact element from the LEDs when the switch button is in the first position. The safety endcap assembly further has a switch opening mechanism configured to move the switch button to the first position when a certain condition is met.
