The power and ground pins of the first end cap assembly are configured to engage the power and ground terminals of the support connector as an incident of the first end cap assembly moving relative to the support connector in a path that is transverse to the length of the body into an engaged position. A sleeve connector is also provided for mounting a non-power end of a linear LED lamp to a light fixture.

In an embodiment, a system for installing a linear LED luminaire includes a suspension bracket having a connection feature for connection to a connection point, and an attachment portion for accepting a first distal end of a first linear LED luminaire. The system also includes a connecting bridge that includes a bridge housing, at least one aperture formed in the bridge housing, and at least one locking tab. The connecting bridge attaches to a second distal end of the first linear LED luminaire and enables secure mechanical and electrical connection between the first linear LED luminaire and a second LED luminaire.

A modular lighting system comprises a plurality of LED modules and a plurality of connecting modules intended for the creation of three-dimensional constructions. The LED modules comprise an elongated cylinder-shaped body made of translucent electrically insulating polymer material. A longitudinally upper opening and a lower opening with flat elongated cross-section shape are located one above the other. The inner surface of both openings is electrically conductive through the entire length of the openings, creating electrically interconnected upper and lower electrical sockets. The LED module is connected to a connecting module, which comprises an upper and a lower connecting element. The upper connecting element is a flat metal one-piece part. It consists of a base part and three same-size pins located around its perimeter, the sizes of which correspond to the sizes of LED module sockets. The lower and upper connecting elements are identical and can be fastened together.

A support connector for maintaining an end of a linear LED lamp in an operative state on a support. The support connector comprises a nonconductive housing comprising a first portion including a mounting base at one end of the first portion configured to couple the support connector to the support. A second portion extends from the opposite end of the first portion and is configured to be insertable within an opening of a first end cap assembly of the linear LED lamp. First and second power electrical terminals are disposed within first and second receptacles of the support connector, and a grounding electrical terminal is disposed within a third receptacle, and the grounding electrical terminal is electrically isolated from the first and second power terminals. The first and second power electrical terminals mate with first and second conductive power pins of the end cap assembly, and the grounding electrical terminal is configured to mate with a grounding pin of the end cap assembly as the first end cap assembly is moved relative to the support connector from a position fully separated from the support connector in a path that is transverse to the length of the body into an engaged position.

Example embodiments relate to compact luminaire heads. One example luminaire head includes a thermally conductive metal body that includes a plate-like portion, a tube portion, and at least one cooling fin. The plate-like portion extends in a longitudinal direction of the metal body and having a flat first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The tube portion extends in the longitudinal direction at the second surface. The at least one cooling fin extends away from the second surface adjacent to the tube portion. The luminaire head also includes at least one support substrate with a plurality of light emitting elements. The at least one support substrate is arranged against the first surface. The tube portion is shaped to receive in a first open end thereof a rigid cylindrical end portion of a mounting base, such as a pole for the luminaire head.

An emergency lighting device with high safety includes a fixture base, two holders and a light tube. The holders are disposed on the fixture base. Each of the holder includes a holder body, two conductive plates and a rotational fixture. The conductive plates are disposed in the holder body and the rotational fixture is disposed in the central recess of the holder body. The light tube has two end caps and a tube body. The end caps are installed on the holders respectively. Each of the end caps has a non-conductive pin and two conductive pins inserted into the rotational fixture of one of the holders, such that the conductive pins of the end cap contact the conductive plates of the holder respectively.
