WEAPON MOUNTED LIGHT AND OPERATION THEREOF
A flashlight assembly includes a body having a head portion at one end and an opposing tapered tail portion and a clamping assembly on a bottom side of the body. The tail portion of the body tapers rearwardly towards a tail end thereof and downwardly from an upper side towards the bottom side, such that the tail end of the tail portion merges with the bottom side of the body and forms an inclined contoured surface extending from the bottom side to the top side. A contoured switch is mounted within the inclined angled surface of the tapered tail portion, and includes a safety bail pivotably movable to selectively mechanically impede operation of the switch.
TAIL SWITCH ARRANGEMENT FOR A LIGHT
A switch for a light may comprise: an electrical switch actuatable in a direction transverse to the electrical switch; a switch actuator including: a plunger adjacent the electrical switch movable pivotably for actuating and de-actuating the electrical switch. A flexible boot may move the plunger toward the electrical switch when the flexible boot is pressed. The electrical switch is actuated when the flexible boot is pressed toward the electrical switch or at an angle therebetween. The switch may be adjacent a reference plane surface in a light body of the light.
Integrated ring clip of flashlight and flashlight
The present invention provides an integrated ring clamp of a flashlight, which includes a ring and a clip, wherein the ring has a base; the clip includes a clamping part and a holding part that can hold and be fixed to a body of the flashlight, the holding part is fixed to the clamping part, and the clamping part is detachably fixed to the base. The present invention also provides a flashlight, which includes a flashlight body and the integrated ring clip, and may further include a flashlight sleeve sleeved on the outer face of the flashlight body and wrapping the same. The integrated ring clamp and the flashlight solve the problem of a structural conflict of the ring and the clip, so that the ring and the clip can be present on the flashlight at the same time, thereby achieving diversified functions.
ELECTRIC LIGHTING DEVICES
Various embodiments of electric lighting devices and, in particular, electric candles are described. The devices can include a flame element onto which light can be projected from a light source. Preferably, the light is projected within a focal area on the flame element. The housing of the devices can include projections that help maintain a vertical position of a circuit board within the housing.
VERSATILE UTILITY LIGHT
A light comprising a housing comprised of an elongated body having a forward end and a rearward end and defining a longitudinal axis, a first bracket arm and a second bracket arm extending outwardly from the elongated body, and a light source contained in the forward end of the elongated body and operable to emanate light outwardly from the housing. The first bracket arm is comprised of an inner wall opposed to an inner wall of the second bracket arm. The opposed inner walls of the first and second bracket arms define a first open ended cavity capable of receiving a first mounting object. The opposed inner walls of the first and second bracket arms may be comprised of arcuate surfaces defining the first open ended cavity as a cylindrical cavity. The first bracket arm and the second bracket arm may be flexible arms joined to the elongated body.
LIGHTING DEVICE POWER CONTROL CIRCUIT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A lighting device power control circuit configured to charge one or more capacitors through the pulsing of an inductor is provided. In one example, a lighting device includes a light source and a power control circuit. The power control circuit comprises an inductor, a power transistor configured to pass an operating current associated with the light source, and one or more capacitors configured to keep the power transistor turned on to pass the operating current. The one or more capacitors are configured to be periodically charged in response to a voltage spike generated across the inductor. Related methods and additional embodiments are also provided.
Cross shaped flashlight device
A flashlight that includes a body with a first end and a second end. A first side protrusion extends outwardly from the body and a second side protrusion extends outwardly from another side of the body. A cover apparatus is engaged to the first end, and a button assembly is engaged to the second end. A light assembly is disposed within the body for projecting light outwardly from the first end of the body.
SOLAR POWERED LAMP ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY
A solar powered lamp attachment assembly for reducing energy consumption includes a base having an inner wall with a bottom end attached to a socket. The socket inserts into a porcelain lamp holder. An outer wall has an outer surface and a top surface. A plurality of lights is positioned on the top surface of the outer wall. A level switch on the outer surface includes a low button, a high button and a mid button. A solar panel is provides power to the plurality of lights. Additionally, a main switch is positioned on the outer surface of the outer wall of the base. The main switch includes a night button to enable a photoelectric cell, an actuator button to close or open electric power from the solar panel to the plurality of lights, and a plus button to enable a plurality of extra lights.
Flashlight apparatus and battery cartridge for the flashlight apparatus
Flashlight apparatus, battery cartridge for the flashlight apparatus, and methods of manufacturing the same. In one embodiment, a battery cartridge is disclosed that includes a cartridge housing having two battery-receiving cavities disposed therein and an end cap that interfaces with the cartridge housing. Each of the two battery-receiving cavities is configured to receive a series of cylindrical batteries therein, the series of cylindrical batteries being configured to power one or more light sources disposed within a flashlight apparatus. In other variants, methods of installing batteries within the aforementioned battery cartridge as well as flashlights that incorporate the aforementioned battery cartridge are also disclosed.
HAND HOLDABLE LIGHT HAVING AN ERGONOMIC GRIP AND A BATTERY ASSEMBLY THEREFOR
A hand holdable light comprises: a light body having a forward portion, a rearward portion, and a central portion between the forward portion and to the rearward portion; a light source proximate a forward end; and a switch for energizing the light source. The rearward portion has a non-circular cross-section; the switch is on the forward portion; and the central portion has a recess opposite the switch.
