Example components of the assembly include a pair of end bells, a roller, and a yoke into one or more of which lighting elements are recessed into, and a fastening assembly to connect the components to form the assembly. Generally, the lighting elements are arranged such that light therefrom is emitted toward one or more of the end bells and roller. The end bells and roller are composed of a translucent material that propagates light emitted from the lighting elements, which extends illumination to areas surrounding the bow roller assembly in addition to the bow roller assembly itself. A water-activated switch can be implemented to control the illumination of the assembly such that the lighting elements only emit light when the trailer is contacting water.

A plurality of arc-shaped grooves may be defined within the light exit side. Each of the plurality of arc-shaped grooves may be convex relative to a center of the optic. Each of the plurality of arc-shaped grooves may intersect at least one of the plurality of annular grooves. The optic may be configured to produce a Unified Glare Rating of less than 28.

The mounting plate and the adjusting assembly are adjustable in a circumferential direction. The adjusting assembly includes an action member on an outer side thereof corresponding to the light-emitting member. The light-emitting member includes a responsive member corresponding to lighting parameters. When the mounting plate and the adjusting assembly relatively move in the circumferential direction, the action member cooperates with the responsive member to realize the regulation of the light-emitting member.
