The glass package (10) includes an inner glass pane (12) and at least one further glass pane (14, 16), wherein the inner glass pane (12) is provided for an arrangement towards to an oven cavity (46) in an assembled and a closed state of the oven door, while the at least one further glass pane (14, 16) is provided for an arrangement opposite to the oven cavity (46) in the assembled and closed state of the said door. The glass package (10) includes connecting means (18, 20, 28) for a permanent connection between the inner glass pane (12) and the at least one further glass pane (14, 16). The inner glass pane (12) and the at least one further glass pane (14, 16) are arranged plane-parallel to each other. An intermediate space is formed between two adjacent glass panes (12, 14, 16). At least one slot (19) and/or channel (30) enclose or encloses at least partially the circumferential sides of the glass package (10) along a circumferential direction. The width and height of the inner glass pane (12) are bigger than the width and height, respectively, of the at least one further glass pane (14, 16) and of any further component of the glass package (10), wherein the widths and heights of the glass panes (12, 14, 16) relate to the large-area sides of said glass panes (12, 14, 16). Further, the present invention relates to a corresponding framework (32) 25 for an oven door of a cooking oven. Moreover, the present invention relates to an oven door including the glass package (10) and the framework (32). Additionally, the present invention relates to a method for assembling an oven door for a cooking oven.
Twist release mechanism for a multi-pane door assembly
A door assembly includes an inner door panel and an outer door panel pivotable with respect to the inner door panel, the inner door panel including a latch base. The outer door panel includes a handle assembly including a handle endcap, a handle body rotatable with respect to the handle endcap, and a latch bar connected with the handle body, the latch bar being detachably coupled to the latch base. The outer door panel is rotatable with respect to the inner door panel, such that the outer door panel can be rotated away from the inner door panel.
Domestic oven
A domestic oven is provided having a hinged door with a handle. The hinged door includes at least one external glass panel coupled to one or more vertical bars defining a structure of the hinged door and an elongated element is coupled to an upper edge of the at least one external glass panel. The elongated element is positioned between the structure and the handle with at least one external glass panel interposed therein.
OVEN DOOR FOR A COOKING OVEN
A, preferably dismountable, oven door comprising at least one glass panel and a door frame or a pair of door columns for supporting said glass panel, wherein the glass panel comprises a first large-area surface, an opposing second large-area surface and at least two lateral edges, the glass panel is detachably or permanently mounted or mountable in the door frame or at the door columns, respectively, the glass panel is chiral in respect of a physical or chemical property of its first large-area surface and of its second large-area surface and of the geometric shapes of its at least two lateral edges, the door frame or at least one door column, respectively, is formed at least partially complementary to the glass panel, so that the door frame or the at least one door column, respectively, is engageable or compatible with said glass panel.
FOOD COOKING OVEN
A food cooking oven having an enclosure, which defines a cooking compartment and a door, which is movable between an open position and a closed position, is disclosed. The door may include a first panel, a second panel, which in a closed configuration has a greater distance from the compartment than the first panel. Additionally, a first and a second body for supporting the first and second panels is included. A profile is included, which is movable between a first position retaining the first panel and a second position permitting removal of the first panel from the door. A push-push type connector is included to retain the profile to the door.
Safety control logic for a multi-pane door assembly of an oven appliance
A method for allowing opening of a first door pane with respect to a second door pane of a multi-pane door assembly of an oven appliance includes receiving, via a controller, one or more safety conditions relating to the oven appliance. The method also includes determining, via the controller, whether the one or more safety conditions correspond to one or more predetermined safety conditions. Further, the method includes allowing, via the controller, opening of the first door pane with respect to the second door pane of the multi-pane door assembly to provide access to a space between the first and second door panes only upon satisfaction of the one or more safety conditions corresponding to the one or more predetermined safety conditions.

The door door may include a first panel, a second panel, which in a closed configuration has a greater distance from the compartment than the first panel. Additionally, a first and a second body for supporting the first and second panels is included. A profile is included, which is movable between a first position retaining the first panel and a second position permitting removal of the first panel from the door. A push-push type connector is included to retain the profile to the door.
OVEN DOOR GLASS WITH INTERLOCKING MECHANISM
Provided is a method for controlling the operation of a cooking appliance, such as an oven range. The cooking appliance includes a door with multiple spaced apart glass panels. The method uses an interlocking mechanism that interferes with the installation of at least one of the plurality of glass panels in the door if at least one of the glass panels is not installed properly. The method further uses a switch with a plunger can be installed in the door, which allows the appliance to operate only when a failsafe electrical circuit is closed corresponding to a selected position of the plunger when the door is closed. The plunger is prevented from retaining that selected position if at least one of the glass panels is improperly installed or if a top cap is not properly seated or installed above the glass panels.
Oven door glass with interlocking mechanism
Provided is a door for a cooking appliance, such as an oven range, with multiple spaced apart glass panels. An interlocking mechanism promotes a proper installation of the glass panels, and interferes with the installation of the glass panels or with operation of the appliance if at least one of the panels is not properly installed. A switch with a plunger can be installed in the door, which allows the appliance to operate only when a failsafe electrical circuit is closed corresponding to a selected position of the plunger when the door is closed. The plunger is prevented from retaining that selected position if at least one of the glass panels is improperly installed or if a top cap is not properly seated or installed above the glass panels.
