An extractor hood (1) with a body (2) which is hollow in its interior (at 15), provided with a lateral opening (8) and containing in its cavity (15) a fan (16) which can aspirate from the lateral opening (8) fumes and/or vapors generated by an underlying hob of a kitchen, the body (2) having opposite surfaces (5, 6) with a larger area, connected by walls or surfaces (10, 11, 12, 13) with a smaller area, a first one (5) of the surfaces (5, 6) with the larger area being placed on a vertical wall (2) of said kitchen, the second surface (6) with the larger area containing the aforementioned lateral opening (8), and in front of this opening (8) there being a flat panel (23) placed spaced from this second larger surface. This flat panel (23) is parallel to the second surface (6), including when the hood (1) is in use.

A telescoping downdraft ventilator with a movable fan and efficient way of removing gases and fumes is disclosed. The telescoping downdraft ventilator has the ability to fit behind a cook top unit beneath a countertop when the cook top unit is located against a wall. The telescoping downdraft ventilator has a fan that may be attached in front of the unit or behind the unit. The ventilator collects and draws in exhaust fumes and smoke, filters it, and re-circulates or expels it through a movable exhaust duct.

A range hood for a microwave includes a range-hood mount and a pair of hood slides coupled to the range-hood mount. Each hood slide includes portions that are configured to move relative to the range-hood mount between a retracted position and an extended position. The range hood further includes an expandable hood extension coupled to the pair of slides and configured to move from a collapsed configuration, when the pair of slides are arranged in the retracted position, to an expanded configuration, when the pair of slides are in the extended position.

A cover apparatus operable to at least partially cover an appliance is disclosed. The cover apparatus may include a front side, a left side coupled to the front side, and a right side coupled to the front side. The front side, the left side, and the right side may at least partially form an enclosure. The cover apparatus may also include one or more actuators operable to be mounted to a fixture situated above the appliance. The one or more actuators may be coupled to an underneath surface of the front side via one or more connectors that extend between the one or more actuators and the underneath surface of the front side. The cover apparatus may be operable to move between an open position and a closed position. The appliance may at least partially occupy the enclosure when the cover apparatus is in the closed position.

A gas hob comprising a top sheet, a port, a gas burner arranged on the top sheet and releasably connected to the port, the port being configured to supply the gas burner with fuel gas, and an extraction unit configured to extract fumes, the extraction unit being retractable into the top sheet.

A cooking system (10) for a space restricted environment includes at least one cooking unit (12) having at least one cooking hob (11) movable between a stowed position and a deployed position such that in the stowed position the cooking hob (11) is located either behind or below an corresponding surface of a countertop (22), cabinet, wall or the like and in the deployed position the cooking hob (11) upwardly extends through an opening (28) in the corresponding surface

An exhaust device has a fan plenum with a fan and a jet plenum having a generally planar shape with one or more jet openings on a distal end thereof configured to create a planar jet. The jet plenum is movably attached at a proximal end thereof to the fan plenum to permit sliding movement of the jet plenum relative to the fan plenum. The fan plenum and the jet plenum each have a respective flow-transfer opening that overlaps the opening of the other, the respective openings being shaped and arranged to remain overlapped in all positions to which the jet plenum is moved relative to the fan plenum such that an interior of the fan plenum and the jet plenum remain in fluid communication to allow air to flow from the fan to flow from the fan plenum to the jet plenum.

A range hood, including a housing with an opening at one side and a fume inlet panel component which is provided on the housing, the fume inlet panel component is provided at the opening of the housing, a fan is provided in an inner cavity of the housing, the fume inlet panel component is configured in such a way that at least a region of the opening of the housing corresponding to the fan can be opened, and the fan can be removed from the region. When the fan and an inner surface of a volute need to be cleaned, a user can conveniently remove the fan from one side of the fume inlet panel component and clean the removed fan and access an interior of the volute to clean an inside surface of the volute, ensuring extraction capability and increasing a service life of the range hood.

A hood extension assembly for use with an above the stove microwave having a built-in ventilation system. The hood extension assembly is fixedly or movably mountable to an underside of an above the stove microwave or to the surrounding cabinetry. A skirt body of a hood panel sloped downward from back to front extends from the front of the microwave to extend over and cover the front burners of the stove or cooktop. A pair of side panels attach to the hood panel and extend rearward to protect the surrounding cabinetry. The pair of side panels may attach directly to the underside of the microwave or to a bracket component attachable to the underside of the microwave.

A telescoping ventilation hood device for a grill includes a hood wherein a first grease collector is attached to the hood; a telescoping tube for adjusting distance between the hood and the grill, wherein one end thereof is connected to the hood; a grease filter box connected to the other end of the telescoping tube; a filter removably received within the grease filter box in a slanted direction with respect to a gravitational direction; a secondary grease collector removably received within the grease filter box; and at least two spring balancers attached to an outer surface of the telescoping tube.
