BOTTOM DRAIN PAN FOR PACKAGED TERMINAL AIR CONDITIONER SLEEVE
A packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) system includes a wall sleeve in which a chassis is mounted. The wall sleeve includes a bottom configured as a drain pan to collect condensate from the chilling components of the chassis. The floor of the drain pan includes a reservoir that extends downward from the floor. The floor slopes downward from the sides of the bottom to the reservoir so that water falling onto the floor flows toward and into the reservoir where it is retained until the height of the water in the reservoir exceed a rim around the drain opening. The rim further prevents treatment pellets from falling into the drain so that they can dissolve in the water captured by the reservoir until the water level of the reservoir flushes the treated water into the drain.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR A PACKAGE CASSETTE ROOM AIR CONDITIONER
A method and apparatus for a package cassette room air conditioner. The air conditioner may be mounted in a ceiling of a building structure. The air conditioner may include an evaporator unit and a condenser unit. The air conditioner may include a soffit inlet and a soffit outlet mounted in a soffit of a building structure. The air conditioner may include a drain outlet mounted in a soffit of a building structure.
Packaged terminal air conditioner system and sleeve therefor
A packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) system includes a wall sleeve in which a chassis is mounted. The chassis includes the major electrical and mechanical components for the evaporator and condenser sections, and includes a pan that collects condensate from the evaporator section for use in cooling the condenser coil. The sleeve includes one or more guide openings in a sidewall, and correspondingly mounted guide structures inside the sleeve that are configured to guide treatment pellets into different portions of the PTAC system to suppress or inhibit microbial growth. This arrangement obviates the need to partially disassemble the PTAC unit to remove the chassis so that treatment pellets can be placed into the PTAC unit.
Saddle window air conditioner with an adjustable chaseway
A saddle window air conditioner includes an interior casing and an exterior casing. A chaseway extends between the interior casing and the exterior casing. A first sleeve of the chaseway is slidably received within a second sleeve of the chaseway such that a length of the chaseway between the interior casing and the exterior casing is adjustable by sliding the first sleeve within the second sleeve. A mounting bracket is mountable at a window. The mounting bracket includes a support leg, a lift foot slidably mounted to the support leg, and a spring coupled to the lift foot. The lift foot is connectable to the exterior casing. The spring urges the lift foot and the exterior casing upwardly on the support leg when the mounting bracket is positioned in the window and the lift foot is connected to the exterior casing.
OUTDOOR UNIT OF AIRCONDITIONER
An outdoor unit of an air conditioner includes a housing including a base forming a bottom surface of the outdoor unit, a fan inside the housing to cause air to flow, a heat exchanger inside the housing to perform heat-exchange with the air caused to flow by the fan, a heater on the base, a drain plug mounted on, and penetrating, the base, and forming a drain hole through which water inside the housing is dischargeable to outside the housing, and a heat conduction plate in contact with the heater and accommodated inside the drain plug to transfer heat generated by the heater to the inside of the drain plug.

The lift foot is connectable to the exterior casing. The spring urges the lift foot and the exterior casing upwardly on the support leg when the mounting bracket is positioned in the window and the lift foot is connected to the exterior casing.
Indoor unit and refrigeration cycle apparatus
An indoor unit includes a main unit including an air inlet through which air enters from a room and an air outlet through which air blows into the room, an electrical component box mounted on an outer surface of the main unit and accommodating an electrical device, a refrigerant pipe connection portion to which a refrigerant pipe through which refrigerant passes is connected, a drain pipe connection portion to which a drain pipe through which drain water discharged from the main unit passes is connected, and an installation bolt attachment bracket mounted on the outer surface of the main unit and fixing the main unit to an installation bolt suspended from above a ceiling. The indoor unit has the refrigerant pipe connection portion, the drain pipe connection portion, and the electrical component box on the same mounting surface.
Water-receiving tray structure for indoor unit of air conditioner, indoor unit and air conditioner
A water receiving in an air conditioner is disclosed. Further, a water-receiving tray structure for an indoor unit of an air conditioner, an indoor unit and an air conditioner. The water-receiving tray structure includes a water-receiving tray, an elevating member and a fixed member; the indoor unit having a casing with a first end defining a return-air inlet and a second end opposite to the first end and defining the air outlet, the water-receiving tray being arranged in a direction from the return-air inlet to the air outlet and being located below a heat exchanger of the indoor unit; the elevating member being arranged at an air outlet end of the indoor unit and supporting an air outlet side of the water-receiving tray; the fixed member being arranged in the indoor unit and being connected to an air outlet side of the indoor unit.
CORROSION INHIBITOR MODULE FOR A PACKAGED TERMINAL AIR CONDITIONER UNIT
A corrosion inhibitor module for a packaged terminal air conditioner unit (PTAC) is provided. Condensate is pumped from a drain pan of the PTAC into a housing of the corrosion inhibitor module. The housing contains a corrosion inhibitor concentrate that is mixes with the condensate to form an inhibitor solution that is returned to the drain pan to prevent the corrosion of components that come in contact with the condensate.
