Heat exchanger including a mixing and redistribution header
A heat exchanger including a mixing and redistribution header (20) at one end of the heat exchanger; multiple heat exchange tubes (30) in communication with the mixing and redistribution header (20). An upper cavity (21) and a lower cavity (22) in communication with each other are disposed in the mixing and redistribution header (20); a fluid entering the heat exchanger first of all flows into a part of the lower cavity (22) of the mixing and redistribution header (20), then is collected and mixed in the upper cavity (21) of the mixing and redistribution header (20), and is distributed into another part of the lower cavity (22) and flows out through a heat exchange tube (30) in communication with the lower cavity, a cross-sectional area of the upper cavity (21) being equal to or greater than a cross-sectional area of the lower cavity (22).
Heat exchanger
Provided is a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of refrigerant tubes in which a refrigerant flows, a heatsink fin coupled to the plurality of refrigerant tubes to heat-exchange the refrigerant with a fluid, a header disposed on at least one side of the plurality of refrigerant tubes to define a flow space of the refrigerant and a guide device disposed in the header to partition the flow space, the guide device guiding the refrigerant from the header to the refrigerant tubes. The guide device includes a movable cover part.
Refrigerant distributor, and heat pump device having the refrigerant distributor
A refrigerant distributor includes an inflow portion made of aluminum into which refrigerant flows through an inflow pipe, and a distributing portion made of aluminum that distributes incoming refrigerant to a plurality of outflow pipes. The distributing portion includes a main body portion connected to the inflow portion, and a plurality of outflow portions connected to the outflow pipes. The outflow portions are protruded from the main body portion, and are formed integrally with the main body portion.
Row split coil systems for HVAC systems
A multiple-circuit heating and cooling system includes a first refrigeration circuit having a first condenser and a first evaporator and a second refrigeration circuit having a second condenser and a second evaporator. The first condenser and the second condenser are arranged in a first row split configuration, and the second condenser is downstream of the first condenser relative to a first air flow directed across the second condenser and the first condenser. Additionally, the first evaporator and the second evaporator are arranged in a second row split configuration, and the first evaporator is downstream of the second evaporator relative to a second air flow directed across the first evaporator and the second evaporator.
Refrigeration cycle device
A refrigeration cycle device is configured to be selectively switchable between an air-cooling first refrigerant circuit that causes refrigerant to flow out of a liquid-phase refrigerant outlet of a gas-liquid separator, and an air-heating second refrigerant circuit that causes the refrigerant to flow out of a gas-phase refrigerant outlet of the gas-liquid separator. In the refrigeration cycle device, an oil separator is disposed in a refrigerant passage that leads from a heat dissipation device to a first expansion valve. Thus, when the first refrigerant circuit is configured in the refrigeration cycle device, the refrigerant passing through the oil separator is in a single gas phase or in an almost gas phase, so that oil can be easily separated from the refrigerant. Furthermore, when the refrigerant circulates through the first refrigerant circuit, oil can be retained at a position other than the gas-liquid separator.
CASCADE SYSTEM FOR USE IN ECONOMIZER COMPRESSOR AND RELATED METHODS
A refrigeration apparatus comprises a first refrigerant system and a second refrigerant system. The first refrigerant system comprises a first compressor, a cascade heat exchanger and a first evaporator. The second refrigerant system comprises a second compressor, a second condenser, the cascade heat exchanger and a second evaporator. The second compressor has an economizer port, and the cascade heat exchanger is connected to the economizer port of the second compressor.
AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE
An air conditioner for a vehicle includes: a condenser that includes a core for allowing heat exchange between a refrigerant discharged from a compressor of a refrigeration cycle and air; and a switching unit that switches a refrigerant passage in the condenser. The switching unit switches the refrigerant passage between a first refrigerant passage that allows the refrigerant to flow throughout the core, and a second refrigerant passage that allows the refrigerant to flow through a part of the core by allowing the refrigerant discharged from the compressor to flow into a middle part of the core.
Liquid receiver and condenser using the same
A liquid receiver is composed of a tubular base member having open upper and lower ends, a tubular tank member having a closed upper end and an open lower end and joined to the base member, and a plug fitted into the base member. A female screw is provided on the inner circumferential surface of the base member, and refrigerant inflow and outflow holes are formed in a portion of the base member above the female screw such that the former is located above the latter. A male screw to be screwed into the female screw is provided on the outer circumferential surface of the plug to be located below the refrigerant outflow hole. Sealing is established between a portion of the inner circumferential surface of the base member located below the female screw and a portion of the outer circumferential surface of the plug located below the male screw.
