REFRIGERATOR
20170292762 · 2017-10-12 ·

A refrigerator including a moisture absorbing unit configured to absorb moisture in the cold air surrounding the evaporator. The moisture absorbing unit includes a moisture absorbing material. Therefore, undesirable frosting on the evaporator can be effectively prevented. The moisture absorbing unit can be heated by a defrosting heater disposed proximate to the evaporator and the moisture absorbing unit. Thus moisture in the moisture absorbing material can be removed and the moisture absorbing material can be repeatedly used.

Refrigerator and dehumidification control method thereof

A refrigerator and a dehumidification control method thereof to effectively perform both temperature compensation and dehumidification so as to prevent formation of dewdrops in a refrigerating compartment of the refrigerator. The control method includes detecting a temperature of outside air around the refrigerator to judge whether or not the detected temperature corresponds to a low-temperature mode requiring dehumidification, heating a refrigerating compartment by operating a refrigerating compartment heater and a refrigerating compartment fan for dehumidification if the low-temperature mode is judged, cooling the refrigerating compartment by operating a compressor while continuously operating the refrigerating compartment fan, and simultaneously cooling and heating the refrigerating compartment to enable simultaneous implementation of temperature compensation by heating of the refrigerating compartment and dehumidification by cooling of the refrigerating compartment.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL CHAMBER AND REFRIGERATOR

Provided is a multifunctional chamber and a refrigerator. The chamber comprises a door body, an inner container enclosed by a plurality of plate bodies, at least one opening provided in at least one of the plurality of plate bodies, a moisture preserving module disposed at the opening and used for regulating and controlling the humidity of the chamber, an upper cover movably disposed on the moisture preserving module, and at least one air port provided in at least one of the plurality of plate bodies and used for discharging moisture from the chamber. When the chamber is at a high-humidity mode, the upper cover moves at the moisture preserving module to expose the moisture preserving module; and when the chamber is at a drying mode, the upper cover completely covers the moisture preserving module.

A packaging may include at least one insulating wall and at least one cooling device embedded into the at least one wall. A method of forming at least one insulating wall of a package may include placing a cooling device into a form, closing the form, injecting a liquid form of an expansive foam, and curing the foam.

Food storage appliance

The invention relates to a box (10) for preservation of food. The box comprises a food storage compartment (16). The box also comprises a dry unit (20) adapted to dry the air inside the food storage compartment. The sealable box is formed as one stand-alone unit. Hereby an appliance for keeping food at dry conditions is provided. The appliance can be easily installed and can be moved around to any suitable location including inside a kitchen cabinet.

DRAWER DEVICE AND COVER WITH LIFTING MEANS
20220299260 · 2022-09-22 ·

The invention relates to a drawer device comprising a drawer body, a drawer which can be moved linearly therein, and a cover which can be moved relative to the drawer and relative to the drawer body in a lifting direction by means of lifting means such that a controlled relative movement of the cover can be carried out in the lifting direction by means of the lifting means and a controller and such that the drawer interior can be evacuated and/or dehumidified after the cover is brought into the closed position, said drawer device allowing a reliable and reproducible movement of the cover in the lifting direction. This is achieved in that the lifting means are arranged so as to run along two lateral edges of the cover, each lifting means having a motor, a spindle, and at least one linear carriage, which is connected to the spindle and can thereby be moved linearly, in a fixed manner to the cover, wherein a profiled lifting section which is operatively connected to securing means on the drawer body can be moved by the lifting means in the lifting direction relative to the cover in a controlled manner by means of a controller relative to the rest of the lifting means and the cover.

Refrigerator Moisture Removal System
20220074642 · 2022-03-10 · ·

This invention is embodied in a system for removing moisture from the air inside a refrigerated space. The preferred embodiment is configured to work on a typical refrigerator that employs a typical refrigerant system with a compressor and a condenser. The preferred embodiment works by fitting a water jacket to the exterior surface of the refrigerant line. The water jacket is connected by flexible tube to a cold plate inside the refrigerator. Preferably a pump circulates fluid between the water jacket and the cold plate. As a result, the cold plate gets colder than the air inside the refrigerator and induces condensation on the cold plate. The condensation can be directed to flow by gravity down to the refrigerator's drip pan.

Method for dehumidifying a refrigeration system
11143449 · 2021-10-12 · ·

A method for dehumidifying a refrigeration system especially to dehumidify a refrigerated transporting container is disclosed. The refrigeration system includes a refrigeration circuit including an evaporator, a compressor, an expansion valve and a condenser. The refrigeration system also includes a control unit and a cooling space, the evaporator is placed in the cooling space and air blows over the evaporator to be cooled down. The dehumidification method is stepwise, and the method includes a dehumidification mode and a re-establish mode. During the dehumidifying process the system shifts between the dehumidification mode and a re-establish mode stepwise dehumidifying the air in the container in such a way that the measured parameters especially the compartment temperature stays within acceptable limits.
