A stacked cooling assembly includes an inlet plate defining an inlet to a coolant circuit, an outlet plate defining an outlet of the coolant circuit, and an intermediate plate disposed between the inlet plate and die outlet plate. The intermediate plate defines an intermediate cavity. A downstream surface of the inlet plate, an upstream surface of the outlet plate, and the intermediate cavity collectively define a connecting channel that fluidly couples the inlet to the outlet.

The outer packaging material has an outer packaging laminate material including a metal heat transfer layer and a resin thermal fusion layer on a surface side of the heat transfer layer. The outer packaging laminate materials form a bag shape by integrally joining the thermal fusion layers along the peripheral edge portions. The inner core material includes the inner core laminate material with a metal heat transfer layer and resin thermal fusion layers on surface sides of the heat transfer layer. The thermal fusion layers of a concave portion bottom and a convex portion top of the inner core material and the thermal fusion layers of the outer packaging laminate material are integrally joined.

An oil cooler is disclosed that comprises a base plate including a recessed portion defined by an interior wall and an exterior wall and including an inlet port and an outlet port. The base plate further includes a divider wall positioned in the recessed portion and extending between the exterior wall and the interior wall to separate the inlet port and the outlet port, a plurality of protrusions arranged in the recessed portion to provide a plurality of tortuous flow paths through which oil flows from the inlet port to the outlet port, and a first set of cooling fins formed on a surface of the base plate opposite the recessed portion. A cover plate is attached to the base plate so as to cover the recessed portion and thereby define a cavity to circulate the oil therethrough, the cover plate including a second set of cooling fins formed thereon.

The angle varies between the transition projections and increases from the first long side to the second long side.
