STORAGE EVAPORATOR WITH CORRUGATED PLATE DESIGN FACILITATING THE FREEZING OF THE PCM
The evaporator (12) for a motor vehicle air conditioning device comprises at least one refrigerant tube (22, 22A) intended to allow the circulation of a refrigerant fluid and at least one storage member (10) comprising at least one housing (16, 20) comprising a material referred to as a thermal storage material (21) intended to store frigories and release them to a ventilation fluid intended to circulate towards an interior of the vehicle. The housing (16) has a substantially hemispherical shape.
Transformer radiator
This invention concerns a transformer radiator. The radiator includes an inlet manifold, an outlet manifold and a heat exchange fin. The find extends between and is connected to the inlet and outlet manifolds. The heat exchange fin defines at least one oil flow passage to convey transformer oil, which, in use, enters the radiator through the inlet manifold, to the outlet manifold. The heat exchange fin is further provided by a single component having a continuously undulating profile and the manifolds extend transversely to the turns of the undulating profile.
HEAT DISSIPATION PLATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method for manufacturing a heat dissipation device that includes stamping a composite plate including a welding material to form a first plate having a plurality of angled grooves, depositing powder in the plurality of angled grooves of the first plate, contacting the first plate to a second plate, and welding the first plate and the second plate together, and sintering powder to obtain a capillary structure.
Marine drives and cooling systems for marine drives having a crankcase cooler
A marine drive is for propelling a vessel in body of water. The marine drive has a powerhead, a crankcase on the powerhead, and a cooling system that pumps a first flow of cooling water from the body of water through a powerhead cooling conduit for cooling the powerhead and in parallel pumps a second flow of cooling water from the body of water through a crankcase cooler for cooling the crankcase and lubricant in the crankcase. A valve controls the second flow of the cooling water to the crankcase cooler. The valve is normally positioned in a closed position, which inhibits the second flow of cooling water to the crankcase cooler and thereby reduces condensation of water from the lubricant in the crankcase. The valve is moved into an open position upon operation of the powerhead at or above a threshold speed, which permits the second flow of cooling water to the crankcase cooler and thereby cools the lubricant in the crankcase. Corresponding methods of operating the marine drive and cooling system are provided.
Radiator for cooling a transformer or a choke, unit including a transformer or a choke and method for producing a radiator
A radiator for cooling a transformer, preferably a power transformer, or a choke, includes a plurality of plate-shaped radiator elements which are disposed parallel to one another and through which a coolant can flow in parallel. At least one elastically deformable element is provided at least between two adjacent radiator elements and is constructed in such a way that it counteracts an expansion of the radiator elements perpendicular to the surface of the radiator elements. Plastic deformation of the walls of the radiator elements can be prevented by the elastically deformable elements. A unit including a transformer or a choke and a method for producing a radiator are also provided.
HEAT DISSIPATION PLATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A heat dissipation device includes a first plate having a first plurality of angled grooves arranged in a first direction, and a second plate having a second plurality of angled grooves arranged in the first direction. The second plate is coupled to the first plate, at least portions of the first plurality of angled grooves and the second plurality of angled grooves are connected to each other such that the first plurality of angled grooves and the second plurality of angled grooves define a fluid channel of the heat dissipation device, and the fluid channel includes coolant. The heat dissipation device also includes at least one capillary structure. At least a portion of the fluid channel is covered by the at least one capillary structure.
HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger includes an outer packaging member. The outer packaging member is configured to allow a heat transfer medium flowed to an inside of the outer packaging member from a heat transfer medium inlet to pass through the inside and flow out from a heat transfer medium outlet. The outer packaging member is made of outer packaging laminate materials each including a metal heat transfer layer and a resin thermal fusion layer provided on one surface of the heat transfer layer. The outer packaging laminate materials are superimposed one on the other. The thermal fusion layers are integrally bonded along peripheral edge portions of the outer packaging laminate materials. The heat transfer layer and the thermal fusion layer of the outer packaging laminate material are laminated via an inner adhesive agent layer made of an acid-modified polyolefin-based adhesive agent containing an acid-modified polyolefin-based resin.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A STRUCTURAL SURFACE HEAT EXCHANGER FOR A NACELLE
A method for manufacturing a structural surface heat exchanger of preset or left-hand final shape for an aircraft includes the steps of forming, shaping and assembling, by welding or brazing, a first corrugated skin and a second smooth skin in order to obtain channels. Each channel is delimited by a corrugation of the first skin and the second smooth skin so as to form a structural surface heat exchanger of preset or left-hand final shape, wherein a fluid is configured to circulate in the channels and air is configured to circulate in contact with the second smooth skin.
Conformable heat exchanger system and method
A method of making and operating a heat exchanger that includes introducing a first fluid into a fluid chamber of a membrane heat exchanger to change the membrane heat exchanger from a flat configuration to a non-flat configuration while the membrane heat exchanger is disposed within a chamber with the membrane heat exchanger extending from a first end to a second end of the chamber and generating a fluid flow of the first fluid within the fluid chamber of the membrane heat exchanger between first and second ends of the membrane heat exchanger, the first fluid generating heat exchange with a second fluid disposed within the chamber. The membrane heat exchanger includes sheets that form a fluid chamber.
