HEAT EXCHANGER AND WATER HEATER
A heat exchanger includes a case, a first and second heat exchanger disposed inside the case, a partition member disposed inside the case, and a duct. The case has a first side wall and a second side wall spaced apart from and facing each other in a first direction, a third side wall and a fourth side wall spaced apart from and facing each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and a bottom wall. A gas outlet communicating with an interior of the case is formed in the first side wall. The first heat exchanger is farther from the bottom wall than the second heat exchanger in a third direction orthogonal to the first and second directions. The second heat exchanger includes meandering heat transfer tubes meandering within a plane orthogonal to the first direction and overlapping along the first direction.
MULTI-PASS AND MULTI-SLAB FOLDED MICROCHANNEL HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger is provided including a first manifold and a second manifold separated from one another. A plurality of tube segments arranged in a spaced parallel relationship fluidly couple the first and second manifold. The plurality of tube segments includes a bend defining a first slab and a second slab. The second slab is arranged at an angle to the first slab. The heat exchanger has a multi-pass configuration relative to an air flow including at least a first pass and a second pass. The first pass has a first flow orientation and the second pass has a second flow orientation. The second flow orientation is different from the first flow orientation.
COOLING APPARATUS FOR COOLING A FLUID BY MEANS OF SURFACE WATER
A cooling apparatus (1) for cooling a fluid with surface water, comprising at least one tube (8) for containing and transporting the fluid in its interior, the exterior of the tube (8) being in operation at least partially submerged in the surface water so as to cool the tube (8) to thereby also cool the fluid. The cooling apparatus (1) further comprises at least one light source (9) for producing light that hinders fouling on the submerged exterior, wherein the light source (9) is dimensioned and positioned with respect to the tube (8) so as to cast anti-fouling light over the tube's exterior. By this structure anti-fouling of the cooling apparatus (1) can be assured in an alternative and effective manner.
MULTI-CIRCUIT COOLING ELEMENT FOR A REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
A temperature controlled case includes a housing that defines a temperature controlled space and a multi-circuit cooling element in thermal communication with the temperature controlled space. The multi-circuit cooling element includes two or more cooling coils. Each of the cooling coils is coupled to a different circuit structured to selectively circulate coolant through the multi-circuit cooling element. Each circuit is fluidly separate from each remaining circuit such that the coolant circulated through each circuit is not shared with each remaining circuit. The multi-circuit cooling element further includes a plurality of heat exchange fins coupled to each of the two or more cooling coils such that each of the heat exchange fins facilitates heat removal from the temperature controlled space by each of the two or more cooling coils.
Heat exchanger and water heater
A fin includes a cut and raised slit and a cut and raised wall portion. The cut and raised slit is formed in a region adjacent to at least one through hole of a plurality of through holes in a first direction and has a tunnel-shaped hole extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The cut and raised wall portion is located in the second direction of the cut and raised slit, protrudes toward a main surface of the fin, and extends along the first direction. Thus, a heat exchanger and a water heater capable of sufficiently conducting an amount of heat of a combustion gas to a heat conduction pipe even in a blind spot of a flow of the combustion gas of the heat conduction pipe and suppressing noise can be realized.
System for Passive Heat Removal from the Pressurized Water Reactor Through the Steam Generator
The invention relates to the nuclear energy field, including systems for passive heat removal from the pressurized water reactor through the steam generator. The invention increases heat removal efficiency, coolant flow stability and system reliability. The system includes at least one coolant circulation circuit comprising a steam generator and a section heat exchanger above the steam generator in the cooling water supply tank and connected to the steam generator through the inlet and outlet pipelines. The heat exchanger is divided into parallel sections wherein L/D≦20, L being the half-section length, D being the header bore, and includes an upper and lower header interconnected by heat-exchange tubes, startup valves with different nominal bores are installed on the outlet pipeline. The inlet and outlet pipeline sections of the circulation circuit comprise a set of branched parallel pipelines individually connected to each of the above heat exchanger sections.
HEAT EXCHANGER AND REFRIGERATION CYCLE DEVICE
In a heat exchanger, a first heat exchange unit is formed by curving a third heat exchange unit having a planar shape through L-shape bending, and a second heat exchange unit is formed by curving a fourth heat exchange unit having a planar shape through the L-shape bending, independently of the third heat exchange unit. The first heat exchange unit and the second heat exchange unit are arranged so as to be opposed to each other along a corner portion between adjacent two side surfaces of a casing.
