The liquid blocking device includes: a body, which has a plate-shaped first separator extending in a longitudinal direction, the first separator having a plurality of holes, and the plurality of holes communicating an exterior of the body with an interior of the body; and a second separator attached to the body, the second separator being configured to have a plurality of openings which abut each other, so that a pressure drop generated when a fluid passes through the second separator via the openings is less than a pressure drop generated when the fluid passes through the first separator. The present application can improve the effect of gas-liquid separation.

A power electronics assembly includes one or more power electronics devices, and a heat exchanger to which the one or more power electronics devices are mounted. The heat exchanger includes an inlet manifold and an outlet manifold, and one or more fluid pathways extending connecting the inlet manifold and the outlet manifold, the heat exchanger configured to transfer thermal energy from the one or more power electronics devices into a flow of fluid passing through the one or more fluid pathways. Thee one or more fluid pathways include one or more internal enhancements and channel configurations to enhance thermal energy transfer by promoting boiling of the flow of fluid and to reduce the pressure drop in the pathways under a two-phase flow condition. The flow of fluid is a flow of liquid refrigerant diverted from a condenser of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system.

The heat exchange device and the freeze dryer of the present disclosure can be designed to be smaller, reducing the volume, and facilitating miniaturization of products.

A disclosed system involves a dual-row condenser connected to the first and second intermediate heat exchanger tubes. Another disclosed system involves a dual-row evaporator connected to the first and second intermediate heat exchanger tubes.
