Heat exchanger support
09851152 · 2017-12-26 · ·

There is disclosed herein a heat exchanger and an associated method of manufacture. The heat exchanger comprises a flow conduit for accommodating flow of a heat transfer fluid. The conduit is wound around a central axis so as to form a plurality of turns, for example in a helical fashion. A support member for the conduit is formed of a sheet material shaped to extend in a circumferential direction about the central axis, wherein the support member is common to said plurality of turns. A plurality of fasteners are arranged to attach the conduit to the support member at spaced locations along its length.

Refrigeration unit

A refrigeration unit having an evaporator tube, a heater tube in a spaced relationship with the evaporator tube, a wire that couples the evaporator tube to the heater tube, and a bracket having a first panel configured to contact the heater tube and a second panel that defines a recess configured to receive the heater tube therein.

A holding support (1) for a v-shaped heat exchanger (2) having a flat base plate (3), which on a plate edge (4) comprises or forms a spreading finger holder (7) comprising holding fingers (5, 6) for holding flat tubes (8) of a v-shaped heat exchanger (2) and on a further plate edge (9) comprises or forms a support (10) for supporting the holding support (1). In a v-shaped heat exchanger (2) two holding supports (1) may be used to support the v-shaped heat exchanger (2) on a surface (11).

Heat exchanger and method of manufacturing the same

Each heat exchange tube of a condenser is formed of a first brazing sheet having a core material and a first brazing material covering the core material. The tank body of each header tank is formed of a second brazing sheet having a core material and a third brazing material covering the core material and being lower in flowability than the first brazing material. In a region of a surface of each protrusion portion facing the corresponding heat exchange tube, the region having a predetermined width as measured from the projecting end, the core materials of the two brazing sheets are brazed together by means of the first brazing material. In the region other than the brazed portion, the core materials of the two brazing sheets are brazed together by means of a fillet formed of a mixture of the first and third brazing materials.

HEAT EXCHANGER ASSEMBLY SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A method of manufacturing a heat exchanger includes providing a first slab having a first plurality of tubes extending from a first end to a second end of the first slab along a first length of the first slab. The method includes providing a second slab having a second plurality of tubes extending from a third end to a fourth end of the second slab along a second length of the second slab. The method includes positioning a first face of the first slab adjacent to a second face of the second slab in a side-by-side configuration and securing a connector to the first end of the first slab and to the third end of the second slab in the side-by-side configuration. The method includes bending the first slab and the second slab together in the side-by-side configuration to form a bent configuration of the heat exchanger.

HEAT EXCHANGER

A heat exchanger assembly including at least one coil shaped heat exchanger pipe assembly for passing through a fluid to be heated. The heat exchanger pipe assembly has an inlet and an outlet and includes coil windings extending concentrically around a coil axis. The heat exchanger assembly further includes a housing in which the heat exchanger pipe assembly is received, such that a flue gas transport gap extends between the heat exchanger pipe assembly and the circumferential wall. In use, hot flue gas passes the coil windings, thereby imparting the heat to the fluid present in the heat exchanger pipe assembly. The housing has a first and a second end wall which close off a first end and a second end of the circumferential wall. The second end wall includes a burner cover opening in which a burner cover can be mounted. The housing is made of plastic and the heat exchanger pipe assembly is clamped in axial direction between the first and the second end wall of the plastic housing.
