Heat exchanger tank with reinforcement element

A heat exchanger tank that includes external ribs that provide reinforcement to structure of the heat exchanger tank is disclosed. In addition, at least one reinforcement element may engage with an external tank portion and may be tensioned by press fitting the at least one reinforcement element on the external tank portion such that limbs of the at least one reinforcement element are separated by the external tank portion between the external ribs. The at least one reinforcement element may further be maintained in the tensioned configuration by using at least one retention means.

The heat transfer member includes: a contact portion configured to be in contact with the two heat-insulating members; and a heat-receiving portion including a heat-receiving surface configured to be in contact with outside air outside of the pipes, and configured to transfer heat, which is received from the outside air on the heat-receiving surface, to the contact portion.

The present disclosure relates to a heat exchanger, for example an indirect charge air cooler for an internal combustion engine. The heat exchanger includes a heat exchanger block including a first channel system for a first fluid and a second channel system for a second fluid that is fluidically separate from the first channel system. Two opposite side parts and two opposite end parts are structured and arranged to fluidically delimit the second channel system. At least one frame part is connected with a respective edge of the two side parts and of the two end parts. An air inlet box is connected to the at least one frame part via a seal. The heat exchanger block has a width b1 and a height h1, and the seal has a width b.sub.2 and a height h.sub.2, where b.sub.1≥b.sub.2 and h.sub.1≥h.sub.2.

HEAT TRANSFER DEVICE

Device for heat transfer between a first fluid and one second fluid includes a housing with first housing element, second housing element and heat transfer element. Housing is developed with a first connecting fitting and a second connecting fitting for each fluid. Heat transfer element is disposed in a volume completely enclosed in a housing and is developed for through-conduction of the first fluid. Housing is developed for conduction of the second fluid about the heat transfer element. Connecting fittings for second fluid are either disposed on the first housing element and the connecting fittings for the first fluid are disposed on the second housing element, wherein within the second housing at least one flow path for conducting the first fluid is implemented which extends between a connecting fitting and a collector region or the connecting fittings for the fluids are disposed on the first housing element.

A heat exchanger with increased heat transfer capability is provided. The heat exchanger includes first and second end plates, tubes extending between the first and second end plates and fins disposed between the tubes. The heat exchanger is disposable within and differs in shape from a space defined between first and second walls such that end corners of the first end plate abut the first wall and a point of the second end plate abuts the second wall, the first wall diverges from the end corners of the first end plate to define a first open region and the second wall diverges from the point of the second end plate to define second open regions. At least one of the first end plate and the second end plates includes enhancements fluidly communicative with the at least one corresponding one of the first open region and the second open regions.

Cast plate heat exchanger with tapered walls

In a featured embodiment, a heat exchanger includes a plate including a plate portion having outer walls. A plurality of internal passages extend between end portions. A ratio between an outer wall cross-sectional thickness at one of the end portions and a cross-sectional wall thickness of the outer wall within the plate portion is greater than 2.5 and no more than 10. An inlet manifold is attached to the inlet end. An outlet manifold is attached to the outlet end.

WATER-COOLING HEAT DISSIPATION DEVICE

The present disclosure provides a water-cooling heat dissipation device, including a liquid guide assembly, a heat exchanger, a heat sink, and a water-cooling pump. The liquid guide assembly includes a first liquid guide pipe, a second liquid guide pipe, and a third liquid guide pipe; two ends of the first liquid guide pipe respectively communicate with the heat exchanger and the heat sink; two ends of the second liquid guide pipe respectively communicate with the heat exchanger and the water-cooling pump; two ends of the third liquid guide pipe respectively communicate with the water-cooling pump and the heat sink; and the water-cooling pump is fixed on the liquid guide assembly.

Entwined tubular arrangements for heat exchangers and counterflow heat transfer systems

A counterflow heat transfer system comprises a heat exchanger and a flow controller arranged to convey a first fluid through the heat exchanger in a first flow direction and a second fluid through the heat exchanger in a second counterflow direction. The heat exchanger comprises at least one first thermally conductive tube conveying the first fluid and at least one second thermally conductive tube conveying the second fluid. The first and second tubes are wound around one another and in contact with one another in an entwined tubular arrangement.

Cooling device

An evaporator includes: a first surface which conducts heat; a heat medium in the evaporator, which vaporizes as a result of the heat absorbed; a condenser which liquefies the heat medium in a vaporized state; a vapour pipe which guides the heat medium in the vaporized state from the evaporator to the condenser; and a liquid pipe which guides the heat medium in a liquefied state from the condenser to the evaporator. A first opening of the vapour pipe and a second opening of the liquid pipe are disposed in different positions from each other in a first direction, and are disposed so as to open into a heat medium accommodation space inside the evaporator at different positions from each other in a second direction, and which is different to the first direction, and also at different positions from each other in a third direction which intersects the first surface.
