Crossbow power cable support
A crossbow in some embodiments may include two power cables and two power cable wheels. Each power cable may extend from a bowstring wheel, to a power cable wheel and then back to the bowstring wheel. A crossbow in some other embodiments may include four power cables and two power cable wheels. Each power cable may extend from a bowstring wheel, to a power cable wheel and then to a portion of the crossbow that does not move relative to the main beam.
Long bow with tensioners
An archery bow for a bow and arrow system comprises a main bow with a tensioner assembly designed to increase the pullback capacity and/or arrow firing strength of the bow. The tensioner assembly includes a first tensioner comprising an elongated bendable member made of a hard material. A middle section of the first tensioner is coupled to a main bow inner projection, wherein at least portions of the upper and lower sections of the first tensioner are offset from an inner side of the main bow, and wherein bending of the main bow causes the first tensioner to bend.
ARCHERY SYSTEM, BOW AND METHOD OPERABLE WITH AN ENERGY RESOURCE
An archery system, method and bow are described herein. The archery system, in an embodiment, includes an energy resource and a driver. The driver is configured to receive a force derived from the energy resource. The driver is also configured to distribute the force to a plurality of limb holders, each of which is pivotally coupled to the archery bow.
Compound bow with cable change
In some embodiments, an archery bow comprises a riser, a first limb and a second limb. A first rotatable member is arranged to rotate about a first axis and a second rotatable member is arranged to rotate about a second axis. A bowstring is attached to the first rotatable member and arranged to bias the first rotatable member in a first rotational direction about the first axis. A power cable is attached to the first rotatable member. A servicing string is arranged for attachment to the first rotatable member and arranged to bias the first rotatable member in a second rotational direction about the first axis.
Tension management system and methods for torsion driven, counteracting block and tackle pulley type elastic energy storage and deployment systems
A tension management system employs moveable anchors, tension pins, ports and tuning string within torsion spring and cam elastic energy storage and deployment counteracting block and tackle systems. In conjunction with prescribed methods, launching cords and cables can be installed and replaced in field conditions, with precise tension for dynamic balance, without the need for bulky and expensive external presses.
Adjustable archery training bow
An adjustable archery training bow assembly includes a single resistance element and an adjustment mechanism that can be actuated by a user to vary the tension level in the resistance element for training purposes. The training bow also includes an integrated laser sight that allows the user to precisely aim at a target. The adjustable archery training bow is used to enhance the user's skills, such as his/her strength, stability and accuracy in delivering an arrow fired from a real, non-training bow to the target.
Archery crossbow portable press
A portable, compact, collapsible, adjustable, archery crossbow press for high poundage crossbows which have a rifle-like frame with an elongate channel and transverse limbs with outwardly located cams or wheels connected by a bow string. The crossbow press includes two limb clamp assemblies that releasably capture the transverse limbs about the cams. A flexible connector connects the two limb clamp assembles just above the rifle-like frame. A safety hook block fits within the elongate channel rearwardly of the crossbow string and is anchored to the rifle-like frame. A mechanical cocking device pulls the flexible connector rearwardly to secure it to a hook on the anchored safety hook block.
Crossbow having an energizer
A crossbow having an energizer is described herein. The crossbow, in an embodiment, includes a stock, a body coupled to the stock, and a plurality of limbs. Each of the limbs has a coupled limb end and an uncoupled limb end. The energizer, which includes an electrical power source, is operatively coupled to the limbs.
