An archery release is communicatively coupled to one or more motion sensors to detect the duration from an archer taking an aim up to the release of the arrow, and can measure the archer's unintended, inadvertent movements during this time period, so as to assess the stability of the shot.

ARCHERY BOW MONITORING

An archery bow comprises a stabilizer mounting facility. A bow element for the archery bow comprises a body. The body comprises a first mounting facility. The first mounting facility is configured for connection to the stabilizer mounting facility. The body comprises a second mounting facility. The second mounting facility is configured for connection to a bow stabilizer. The body includes an accelerometer. The bow element comprises a processor. The processor is connected to the accelerometer. The processor is configured to receive three-dimensional acceleration information from the accelerometer. The processor is operable to generate sampled information based on the three-dimensional acceleration information. The bow element comprises a transmitter. The transmitter is connected to the processor. The transmitter is operable to transmit the sampled information.

ARCHERY TUNING SYSTEM

An archery tuning system comprises an archery target facility. The archery target facility has a frame providing an interior perimeter. The archery target facility has an optical sensor facility connected to the frame. The optical sensor facility is adapted to create optical information based on distance measurements from the interior perimeter to an archery projectile present within the interior perimeter of the frame. The archery target facility has a target processor adapted to calculate at least two intersection points of the archery projectile within the interior perimeter of the frame. The at least two intersection points are based on the optical information. The archery target facility has a target transmitter adapted to transmit intersection point information to a receiver. The archery tuning system comprises the receiver. The receiver includes a receiver processor adapted to generate resulting information based on the intersection point information.

Disclosed is a finger release aid for archery shooting training with an archery training device. The archery training system provides an archer the ability to safely condition psychologically and physically without the need of a bow and arrow while maintaining the sensation of using a bow and arrow. Dry firing the archery training system with the finger release aid not only mimics the actions of finger shooting an arrow while using a traditional archery bow (providing instant feedback for users when they have maintained proper form during the draw, hold, and release phases used during finger shooting), but also provides for improved strength training and convenience options for keeping top and bottom resistance bands and interconnectors connected. Moreover, mechanical release archers can connect D-loops and mechanical releases to the finger release all while having tactile string angles to use as anchor points on their face and/or nose at full draw.

An adjustable archery training bow assembly includes a single resistance element and an adjustment mechanism that can be actuated by a user to vary the tension level in the resistance element for training purposes. The training bow also includes a mount for receiving a mobile device, which allows the user to practice various augmented reality-archery training scenarios. The adjustable archery training bow is used to enhance the user's skills, such as his/her strength, stability, and accuracy to help deliver on-target an arrow fired from a real, non-training bow.

An archery training aid is provided including a body and a finger rest extending outward at an angle from a base. The finger rest can include a finger rest surface configured to engage one or more fingers of a hand. The base can be configured to be placed in engagement with a first lateral grip surface of a bow grip so that the finger rest surface is disposed at a first angle between 25° to 65°, inclusive, or between 30° and 50°, inclusive, relative to the first lateral grip surface. A related method of use is provided to impair or prevent bow torque imparted by an archer's hand on a bow.

An archery training method includes measuring a load applied to a bow hand holding a bow or applied to a release hand drawing a bow string of the bow, the measuring being performed while the bow string is drawn to a cocked positioned for firing an arrow; comparing through a computer processor the measured load to a predetermined value; and activating an output device to generate a notice based on the comparison between the measured load and the predetermined value.
