Apparatus for a vehicle
Apparatuses for a projectile are provided, the projectile configured for weapons band launching, examples of the apparatus comprising a body, an inflation system and external walls. The body is inflatable by the inflation system, from a deflated configuration having a first volume to an inflated configuration having a second volume, greater than the first volume. The external walls are deployable from an undeployed configuration to a deployed configuration responsive to the body being inflated. In the undeployed configuration and at an operating airspeed, the center of pressure is located at a first position with respect to the projectile. In the deployed configuration the external walls provide a deployed external surface geometry exposed to an airflow corresponding to the operating airspeed, such that the center of pressure is located at a second position with respect to the projectile, different from the first position.

Spinning projectile
A projectile fired from a weapon which has a bore with inner rifling, having a point and a base which are disposed within a sleeve such that the point and base of the projectile rotate independently of the sleeve when fired from a gun or similar weapon designed to discharge projectiles or similar material.

Vented arrow
In some embodiments, an arrow comprises a shaft comprising a tubular wall comprising a cavity and a nock comprising a notch arranged to engage a bowstring. An intake inlet is in fluid communication with the cavity and an exhaust outlet is in fluid communication with the cavity.
Projectile apparatus for smooth bore barrels
A projectile apparatus is provided that includes a projectile, a propellant, and optional components such as a wading, a sabot, and an intermediary device. The projectile can be fired through a barrel having a smooth bore. A sabot is provided that can include molded features, for example, a base portion and a plurality of petal portions defining, in-part, a volume for accommodating a projectile. The sabot and wadding can include molded features that control and direct gases produced by the propellant. The apparatus can convert gas pressure or gas velocity into a high rate of projectile spin. The projectile has long-range accuracy due to a high or sustainable velocity and high rate of spin.

System and method for aeronautical stabilization
Launching an aeronautical system can comprise applying force or energy to the system in connection with accelerating the system. Responsive to the force or energy, an element of the system can move along a defined path within the system. The system can comprise a drive that converts motion along the defined path into rotational motion. The drive can rotate a mass within the system, which can be supported by a gas bearing. The rotating mass can comprise the moving element, a different system element, or the entire system. The rotating mass can produce angular momentum and can support gyroscopic stabilization of the aeronautical system. Rotational energy can be selectively imparted to and transferred between system elements in connection with stabilization management. System elements can moderate the system's response to impulsive stimuli associated with rotation and acceleration. A gas bearing can support an external surface of the system during launch.

QUICK-DETACHABLE MULTI-PURPOSE ACCESSORY MOUNTING PLATFORM
Accessories may be mounted using a quick-detachable multi-purpose accessory mounting platform. The platform may include one or more clamps to receive an object, such as a firearm. The platform also may include at least one recessed mounting pad, at least one rear shelf, and other surfaces to provide different mounting points for accessories.
