Fragmentation sleeve for an ammunition body
Fragmentation sleeve (1), for a generally circular cylindrically shaped ammunition body (2), whereby the sleeve (1) has an annular shape with an inner diameter at no place smaller than the outer diameter of the ammunition body (2), an outer diameter D.sub.a, an internal surface S.sub.i, an external surface S.sub.a, and a height H, the sleeve is configured to be slid over and positioned on an outer surface (3) of the ammunition body (2) and comprises a plurality of fragments (4) embedded in a polymeric matrix (5).
PROJECTILE WITH SELECTABLE ANGLE OF ATTACK
A projectile with selectable angle of attack for increased impact on a target includes an active charge and controllable initiation device for initiation of the active charge, wherein the projectile also includes at least one side-acting impulse motor for tilting the projectile relative to its trajectory from a substantially vertical position, in which the front face of the projectile is directed toward the target, into a more horizontal position, in which the outer surface of the projectile is directed toward the target.
Venting system for a shaped charge in the event of deflagration
A shape charge venting apparatus and method for venting gases generated during deflagration. The venting apparatus and method including vent grooves inside the shape charge providing a pathway for deflagration gases to escape the shape charge. The venting apparatus and method also may include using a retainer ring in addition to the vent groove in order to hold the components of the shape charge in place. The venting of the gases during deflagration facilitates pressure relief within the shape charge and increases safety from accidental detonation during a fire.

Munition with controlled self neutralization
Methods, systems, and devices for an area-denial munition configured for self-neutralization of an explosive ordnance. In one or more embodiments the munition including a housing including a chassis defining one or more openings such that the housing is an at least partially open structure exposing an interior to an ambient environment. In various embodiments the munition includes a detonation module including a detonation initiator and a deflagration module including a deflagration initiator coupled with a pyrotechnic primer, and munition control circuitry. In various embodiments the munition control circuitry receives instructions to deflagrate the explosive ordnance and instructs the deflagration module to activate the deflagration initiator. In various embodiments, the deflagration initiator causes a deflagration of the explosive ordnance for self-neutralization of the munition resulting in safe destruction of the munition's explosive charge and control electronics.
Dual-function penetrator liner for multifunctional warhead
A dual-function penetrator liner for a multifunctional warhead. A dome-shaped outer portion is disposed in an inner front end of a warhead body to be concave in a direction opposite to a direction in which the warhead body is fired. A fastening portion is disposed in an outer circumferential direction of the outer to fasten the outer portion to the warhead body. A conical central portion is enclosed by the outer portion to protrude in a direction opposite to the direction in which the warhead body is fired. The outer portion and the central portion are concentric.

PROJECTILE DELIVERY SYSTEMS AND WEAPONIZED AERIAL VEHICLES AND METHODS INCLUDING SAME
A projectile delivery module to be mounted on an aerial vehicle includes a projectile delivery system including a kinetic projectile and a base system. The kinetic projectile includes a projectile body, an RF receiver, and an onboard steering system including: a steering mechanism operable to change an attitude, orientation, and/or direction of flight of the kinetic projectile; and a steering actuator. The base system includes: an RF transmitter to communicate with the RF receiver; a projectile holder; a target tracking system; and a projectile guidance system including a projectile tracking system and a projectile control system. The base system is configured to: release the kinetic projectile from the projectile holder such that the kinetic projectile is driven toward a target by gravity; track the target using the target tracking system; track the released kinetic projectile using the projectile tracking system; and automatically control the onboard steering system using the projectile control system to adjust a trajectory of the falling kinetic projectile to steer the kinetic projectile to the target.
PROJECTILE AND FUSE WITH BRAKE
A projectile is outfitted with a target finder and is intended to be fired from a launching device and includes one or several brake flaps where the brake flaps, after being extended, cause the projectile to be arranged in a controlled oscillating movement. A fuse is also provided.
SHAPED CHARGE WARHEAD AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAID WARHEAD
Described is a shaped charge warhead comprising an axially symmetric fragmentation casing designed to define a containment space and having in a base portion a casting hole for the explosive, a detonator housed in the casting hole and a conical liner of the shaped charge positioned inside the containment space.
The casing and the conical or hemispherical liner, with a variable thickness, if necessary, are made in a single piece.
The casing extends along a respective axis of extension in such a way as to also define a standoff of the charged warhead.
