The intake control apparatus (1) includes a body (4) which integrally includes intake pipes (2a) and (2b). The body (4) includes a linear bypass passage (10a), which passes through thereinside, one end of which opens upstream of a valve body (5) of the intake pipe (2a), and the other end of which opens downstream of the valve body (5) of the intake pipe (2b).

Position detecting device

The present disclosure provides a rotational angle detecting device. An IC substrate has a flat surface extending along a rotational axis of a throttle valve. Yokes forms, together with the magnets, a closed magnetic circuit. A first Hall element outputs a first signal according to the magnetic flux density in a first direction along the flat surface. A second Hall element outputs a second signal according to the magnetic flux density in a second direction intersecting the flat surface. The first and second Hall elements are positioned within a region that is surrounded by the magnets and the yoke and that is between an edge surface and an edge surface.

A system for tracking oil health of an engine includes an electronic fuel injection system which includes an electronic governor control unit. The electronic governor control unit is programmed to track engine parameters, calculate oil health based on the tracked engine parameters and on engine type, and display an indication of oil health.

Angle detection mechanism and angle detection system

An angle detection mechanism to detect a rotation angle of a rotation body includes a first detection unit to cause a first output value to constantly change in response to an angle change of the rotation body in the entire region of a specific rotation range and to set a change quantity of the first output value relative to the angle change in a first rotation region of the specific rotation range to be greater than a change quantity in a non-first rotation region, and a second detection unit to cause a second output value to constantly change in response to an angle change and to set a change quantity of the second output value in a second rotation region including a rotation region different from the first rotation region to be greater than a change quantity in a non-second rotation region.

Throttle actuator position verification

Disclosed is a verification system including a throttle actuation verification system. The verification system may include one or more sensors positioned at a location that will receive a force applied by an operator when a throttle lever is engaged or loaded for the intention to be actuated by the operator. A signal from the sensor is compared to a throttle position.

EXHAUST SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME

An exhaust system for a vehicle and method of operating the exhaust system. The exhaust system comprises an internal combustion engine, an exhaust throttle valve, and a pressure sensor. The method comprises the steps of: outputting an exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine; determining a flow factor for the exhaust throttle valve; conducting a diagnostic pressure analysis using one or more pressure readings from the pressure sensor; estimating a stuck position for the exhaust throttle valve; determining a flow limit based on the estimated stuck position; and mitigating one or more exhaust system effects based on the flow limit and/or the estimated stuck position.

An assembly for a control device may include a housing part, a shaft rotatably supported on the housing part via a bearing device separate from the housing part, and a magnetic field sensor attached to the housing part, the magnetic field sensor interacting with a magnetic element attached to the shaft for conjoint rotation to determine a rotational angle position of the shaft in relation to the housing part. A bearing element of the bearing device may be received in a housing wall portion of the housing part configured in a complementary manner to the bearing element. On a face side of the shaft facing the magnetic field sensor, a recess may be formed in which the magnetic element may be at least partially received. The housing wall portion may be configured as a web with a ring segment-shaped geometry, which may partially enclose the bearing element externally.
