SWEETENING INGREDIENTS
The present invention relates to ingredients, particularly sweetening ingredients, for example ingredients for use in reduced sugar, low-sugar, or zero-sugar beverage or food products. More specifically, the present invention relates to ingredients derived from plant infusions, in particular fermented infusions of stevia.
GELATIN AND PECTIN GUMMY COMPOSITION FOR STARCHLESS PRODUCTION
A gummy composition including a gelatin; a pectin; a food-grade organic acid; and water, wherein the gummy composition has a pH of 3.1 to 3.45 or a ° Brix range of 76 to 81, and wherein the gummy composition has a removal time of 30 minutes or less in a starchless mold. A method of manufacture of a gummy composition comprising at least one of a pH of 3.1 to 3.45 and a ° Brix range of 76 to 81, and having a removal time of 30 minutes or less in a starchless mold, the method including forming a flowable composition of a gelation, a pectin, a food-grade organic acid and water; and depositing the flowable composition into a starchless mold.
Flavor elements and methods of providing nonvaporized flavor to electronic vaporizers and e-cigarettes
The present disclosure describes a flavor element configured for providing flavor to a user of an electronic vaporizer, along with nicotine reduction methods. The flavor element includes a flavor material configured to provide the flavor and is configured to attach to the electronic vaporizer. When attached to the electronic vaporizer and during inhalation by the user using the electronic vaporizer, the flavor element is configured to provide the flavor to the user in parallel with an inhalable aerosol provided by the electronic vaporizer. The inhalable aerosol is provided by the electronic vaporizer by at least partially vaporizing a vaporizable substance via a vapor element. The flavor provided via the flavor material is separate from the vaporizable substance.
SMOKELESS TOBACCO PASTILLE
A smokeless tobacco pastille configured for insertion into the mouth of a user is provided. The smokeless tobacco pastille can include (i) a tobacco material present in an amount of less than about 40 dry weight percent, based on the total dry weight of the pastille; (ii) at least one natural gum binder present in an amount of at least about 25 dry weight percent; and (iii) a plurality of sugar alcohols present in a total amount of at least about 40 dry weight percent, the predominant component of the plurality of sugar alcohols being isomalt or erythritol, wherein the shape of the smokeless tobacco pastille is moldable in the oral cavity.
