Control Device for Fuel Injection Device
Provided is a control device for a fuel injection device capable of detecting a variation in valve opening start timing of the fuel injection device and stabilizing a fuel injection quantity. Therefore, the control device for the fuel injection device of the present invention is a control device for a plurality of fuel injection devices each including: a valve body that opens a fuel passage by separating from a valve seat; a movable element that causes an opening/closing operation of the valve body; and a stator that attracts the movable element by a drive current flowing through a coil. This control device includes a control unit that controls the energization time of the drive current by a pulse width of a drive command pulse. The control unit estimates a valve opening start timing having a correlation with a detected valve closing completion timing. Further, the pulse width of the drive command pulse is corrected based on the valve opening start timing.
Fuel system for retarded armature lifting speed and fuel system operating method
A fuel system for an internal combustion engine includes a fuel injector, and a fueling control unit electrically connected to a solenoid in the fuel injector. The fueling control unit energizes the solenoid with a lift current pulse to lift an armature, then energizes the solenoid with a separate capture current pulse to capture the armature at a lifted position. The solenoid is deenergized a dwell time while the armature is in flight toward the lifted position. Armature lifting speed is retarded based on the deenergizing of the solenoid so as to limit bouncing of a valve pin in the fuel injector against a stop. The techniques assist in linearizing a fuel delivery curve.
Apparatus and Method for Controlling a Cam
Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a method for controlling a cam using an ECU (electronic control unit) comprising: learning a holding region in which linearity is not ensured by increasing or decreasing a PWM signal while the cam maintains a holding state; based on the results of the learning, generating a final PWM signal; and transmitting the final PWM signal to an oil control valve. The final PWM signal comprises a sum of a minimum PWM signal for the cam to leave the holding region and a control PWM signal for the cam to reach a desired position.
Internal combustion engine control device
An internal combustion engine control device that can ensure diagnosis of whether a fuel injection cut function normally works and that further permits startup of an internal combustion engine in a case in which the fuel injection cut function normally works is provided. To attain the internal combustion engine control system, the startup of the internal combustion engine is prohibited when carrying of a diagnostic monitoring current based on a diagnostic drive signal related to each of fuel injection valves to each of fuel injection valves in a case of transmitting a drive prohibition signal related to each of fuel injection valves to a fuel injection valve drive circuit before the startup of the internal combustion engine and transmitting the diagnostic drive signal related to each of fuel injection valves to the fuel injection valve drive circuit. By transmitting the diagnostic drive signal related to each of the fuel injection valves to the fuel injection valve drive circuit and monitoring whether the diagnostic monitoring current based on the diagnostic drive signal is carried to each of fuel injection valves, it is possible to ensure diagnosis of whether the fuel injection cut function normally works.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MOVING OBJECT
A controller causes a calculation device to perform calculation that determines an operation of a moving object and generates digital signals that define the operations of actuators. The generated digital signals are output to a digital signal transmission path by a signal bus control IC. ICs attached to the actuators obtain digital signals that define the operations of the actuators from the digital signal transmission path and generate control signals for the actuators based on the operations defined by the digital signals.
Fuel system with variable output fuel pump
In at least some implementations, a system includes a pump having an electric motor and a pump outlet, a controller coupled to the pump to vary the power provided to the motor to vary the flow rate of liquid discharged from the pump outlet, a pressure regulator having an inlet communicated with the pump outlet, a regulator outlet from which liquid is discharged from the regulator, a bypass outlet through which liquid is discharged from the regulator, and a pressure responsive valve that opens to permit liquid flow through the bypass outlet, and a flow sensor. The flow sensor is communicated with the bypass outlet to sense or determine a flow rate of liquid at or downstream of the bypass outlet, the flow sensor also communicated with the controller to provide an indication of the bypassed liquid flow rate to the controller.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR EXHAUST SENSOR
A control device for an exhaust sensor is configured to control the exhaust sensor disposed in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine. The control device for an exhaust sensor includes: a sensor element; a heater configured to heat the sensor element; a current detection circuit configured to detect an output current of the exhaust sensor, and an electronic control device configured to control electric power that is supplied to the heater by PWM control.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE DUTY CYCLE OF A SIGNAL ENABLING THE CURRENT CONTROL OF A CONVERSION MODULE OF A CONVERTER
Disclosed is a method for regulating the duty cycle of a controlled current signal of a conversion module of a voltage converter including a step of measuring, by the microcontroller, the duty cycle of the envelope of the controlled current signal, and when the value of the duty cycle is below a predetermined threshold, a step of controlling, by the microcontroller, the current control module to decrease the amplitude of the control signal and that the duty cycle of the envelope of the controlled current signal thus tends toward a predetermined threshold, or when the value of the duty cycle is higher than the predetermined threshold, a step of controlling, by the microcontroller, the current control module so the current control module increases the amplitude of the controlled current signal and that the duty cycle of the envelope of the controlled current signal thus tends toward the predetermined threshold.
INJECTION CONTROL DEVICE
An injection control device controls the opening and dosing of a fuel injection valve by performing peak current drive and constant current drive and controls injection of fuel from the fuel injection valve to an internal combustion engine. The injection control device includes a preheat current energization control unit configured to, when a temperature of a solenoid coil of the fuel injection valve prior to starting the internal combustion engine is lower than a predetermined temperature, energize the fuel injection valve with a preheat current having an output density that causes the temperature of the solenoid coil to increase, the preheat current being within a range that maintains the fuel injection valve in a valve closed state, and when the temperature of the solenoid valve increases to or above the predetermined temperature, stop the energization of the fuel injection valve with the preheat current.
