Ivory System for Vapour Recovery
Method for controlling a linear pump (9) of a vapour recovery system in a fuel dispensing unit (1). The linear pump (9) is flow controlled by a signal. The method comprises applying (SI) a known voltage to a solenoid coil (10) of the linear pump (9) for a predetermined time period, measuring (S2) a current consumption of the solenoid coil (10) during the predetermined time period, and adjusting (S3) the signal based on the measured current consumption. The invention also relates to a vapour recovery system for recovering vapour from a motor vehicle tank via a fuel dispensing nozzle (7) to a vapour tank.
Drive of a pump
A pump includes a cylinder having a working chamber which contains a fluid. A drive system including at least two linear motors which are connected electrically and/or mechanically in parallel moves a piston in the working chamber to bound the working chamber in the cylinder and to pressurize the fluid in the working chamber. A piston rod is connected to the piston and bundles a force applied by the drive system.
OSCILLATING PISTON PUMP COMPRISING A ONE-PIECE STRUCTURAL ELEMENT HAVING A FIRST AND A SECOND HOLLOW TUBULAR BODY
An oscillating piston pump including: a first hollow tubular body in which a piston moves; a second hollow tubular body extending around the first hollow tubular body, carrying a solenoid that controls the movement of the piston, the first tubular body and the second tubular body forming a one-piece structural element.
Solenoid pump
A solenoid pump that includes a base and a solenoid having a coil and a pole piece. A retainer body, positioned inside the solenoid and the base, includes an armature cavity that receives an armature in a sliding fit for movement between energized and de-energized positions. A diaphragm, mounted in the armature cavity, is connected to the armature. An inlet check valve permits fluid flow in only a first direction moving from an inlet port toward the diaphragm. An outlet check valve permits fluid flow in only a second direction moving from the diaphragm toward an outlet port. A fluid flow path extends through the retainer body from the inlet check valve to the diaphragm and from the diaphragm to the outlet check valve for transporting fluid from the inlet check valve to the outlet check valve as the diaphragm oscillates between first and second positions.
Operating method and actuation device for a piston pump
The invention relates to a method for operating a piston pump (10) which is driven by means of a coil (1) of an electromagnet. A piston (2) of the piston pump (10) can be moved in a cylinder (3) for pumping purposes by means of the electromagnet. A voltage (U) is applied to the coil (1) during a switch-on period such that a current flows through the coil (1) and the piston (2) is accelerated, said voltage being applied by means of an actuation device (11). A time curve of an electric state variable (I, U) of the coil (1) is qualitatively detected, and the curve or a curve derived therefrom is analyzed in order to detect an impact of the piston (2) against a stop. The invention further relates to an actuation device and a piston pump.
Methods and devices for fluid driven adult devices
A device for use by an individual varying in form, i.e. shape, during its use and allowing for the user to select multiple variations of form either discretely or in combination and for these dynamic variations to be controllable simultaneously and interchangeably while being transparent to the normal use of the device, including the ability to insert, withdraw, rotate, and actuate the variable features manually or remotely. According to embodiments of the invention localized and global variations of devices are implemented using fluidics and electromagnetic pumps/valves wherein a fluid is employed such that controlling the pressure of the fluid results in the movement of an element within the device or the expansion/contraction of an element within the device.
FLUID PUMPING USING ELECTRIC LINEAR MOTOR
A drilling fluid pump system includes a plurality of modular pump units that are each driven by a linear electric motor. A control system that can include positional feedback information which is used to control all of the linear motors in the pump system and reduce pressure pulsation. The linear motors can be controlled to reduce fluid pressure pulsation by controlling velocity and relative timing between pistons. To accommodate removal and addition of individual pump units the pump modules can be isolated electrically and hydraulically. This can improve scalability, reliability, and serviceability of the pump system.
Solenoid operated unit for detecting and removing undesired fluid with diagnostic metering
A solenoid operated unit (100) for detecting and removing an undesired fluid (6) from a desired fluid (5) with diagnostic metering, comprises a unified solenoid operated pump and valve unit (70), a drainage path (40), an electrical detection system (60), a mecha-electro-magnetic detection system (80) and a junction box (190) interacting with an electronic control unit (90) comprising a PWM generator. A plunger (50) moves from up to down, a sweeping volume (28) with a cycle of a PWM electricity wave, while moving down the plunger (50) creates a negative pressure in a sweeping volume (28) and while moving up a positive pressure gets created in the sweeping volume (28) and a negative pressure gets created at a rear end (30) of a unified chamber (26), an air reliever (180) is provided for breathing.
Volumetric pump
An apparatus for pumping a fluid from a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet is disclosed. The apparatus comprises: a spool axially movable within a cavity, wherein a first chamber is located at a first axial end of the cavity and a second chamber is located at a second axial end of the cavity, wherein the volume of the first chamber and the second chamber varies depending upon the axial position of the spool within the cavity; a valve movable between a first position and a second position, wherein in the first position the valve is configured to convey fluid from the fluid inlet to the first chamber and from the second chamber to the fluid outlet, and in the second position the valve is configured to convey fluid from the fluid inlet to the second chamber and from the first chamber to the fluid outlet.
Piston pump and relative control method
A piston pump for feeding a liquid in a vehicle having at least one piston, which is configured to cyclically slide inside a housing between a top dead centre and a bottom dead centre. The liquid is usually fed along a main feeding direction from a suction duct to a delivery duct. The piston pump has two solenoid valves, which are each arranged in the suction duct and in the delivery duct, respectively, and are designed to be operated by an electronic control unit so as to reverse the liquid feeding direction from the main feeding direction to a secondary feeding direction opposite the main liquid feeding direction and/or so as to adjust the cylinder capacity of the piston pump. The piston is operated by an electromechanical actuator, in particular comprising an electromagnet.
