An electric submersible pump (ESP) assembly. The ESP assembly comprises a centrifugal pump, an electric motor mechanically coupled by a drive shaft to the centrifugal pump, wherein the electric motor comprises a stator and a rotor, a bearing, wherein the bearing is disposed inside the electric motor, and a magnetic shield disposed in the electric motor between bearing and the rotor and stator.
STATOR SAVER ARRANGEMENT FOR CANNED MOTOR PUMP
A limit ring for use in a pump arrangement includes a cylindrical body positioned about a central longitudinal axis, a first end and an opposite second end. A central passage is defined through the cylindrical body and is centered about, and extends, along the longitudinal axis between the first end and the second end. The central passage has a circular cross section when viewed along the longitudinal axis. The limit ring further includes a number of channels defined in the cylindrical body radially outward from the central passage, each channel extending between the first end and the second end of the cylindrical body.
ELECTROMAGNETICALLY DRIVEN BLOOD PUMP
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward apparatuses, systems, and methods that may include a magnetic drive system of a blood pump. The magnetic drive system may include a drive shaft coupled to an impeller, a driven magnet assembly coupled to at least one of the drive shaft and the impeller, and a driving coil assembly configured to drive the driven magnet assembly.
Pump having magnets for journaling and magnetically axially positioning rotor thereof, and related methods
A pump may include a stator, a rotor, and an impeller. The stator may include one or more electromagnets and one or more permanent magnets. The rotor may include an armature, one or more complementary permanent magnets, and a pull magnet configured to position the rotor in an axial direction. The rotor may be disposed within the stator. The complementary permanent magnets and the one or more permanent magnets of the stator may create magnetic bearings. The armature may be aligned with at least one of the electromagnets of the stator and configured to rotate the rotor with respect to the stator. The impeller may be coupled to the rotor.
Anti-thrombus surface potential ceramic element
An implantable blood pump comprising a housing. At least one stator is disposed within the housing. A rotor is disposed within the housing, the at least one stator being configured to rotate the rotor when current is applied to the stator. At least one at least partially piezoelectric disk is disposed within the housing.
SEALED MICROPUMP
A sealed micropump includes an integrated motor and at least one impeller for generating fluid flow inside a housing of the micropump. The impeller includes a radial sliding bearing with a spider bearing for supporting an impeller pin of the impeller inside the housing. The impeller pin includes a sheathing of a material different from a material of the spider bearing.
Fluid pump having an internal bearing collar and method for assembling the fluid pump
An electric fluid pump may include a pump housing and an electric motor. A rotor may have a rotor shaft and may be mounted in a rotatable manner in a stator body, which may have a stator embedded at least regionally therein. The pump housing may be subdivided into a dry and a wet region containing the rotor. The rotor shaft may be mounted on a bottom side and may be connected to a pump impeller on a pump-impeller side, facing away from the bottom side. The pump housing may have, on the pump-impeller side, an aperture out of which the rotor shaft may project. The pump housing may have an internal first bearing collar arranged around the aperture, the dry region located radially around the first bearing collar, and an outside diameter of the first bearing collar being less than a maximum diameter of the rotor.
MAGNETIC BEARING, DRIVE DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME, AND PUMP
A magnetic bearing contactlessly supporting a rotor by magnetic force includes: a bearing rotor member made of a magnetic material; and a bearing stator member arranged around bearing rotor member. The bearing stator member includes a core made of a magnetic material and a coil wound around the core. A longitudinal cross-sectional shape of the core has a first part extending in a first direction orthogonal to a direction opposed to the bearing rotor member and wound around with the coil, a pair of second parts extending from both end portions in the first direction of first part to the bearing rotor member side and subsequently extending in a direction approaching each other in the first direction, and a pair of third parts extending from respective distal end portions of the pair of second parts toward the bearing rotor member side. The bearing rotor member also includes a permanent magnet.
Hybrid magnetic radial bearing in an electric submersible pump (ESP) assembly
An electric submersible pump (ESP) assembly. The ESP assembly comprises an electric motor, a centrifugal pump, and a hybrid magnetic radial bearing, wherein the hybrid magnetic radial bearing is disposed inside the electric motor or disposed inside the centrifugal pump.
Electric water pump
Provided is an electric water pump in which a portion of a fluid discharged from the vicinity of an outer peripheral edge of an impeller flows between the impeller and a lower casing, flows between a rotor and the lower casing, flows between a shaft and the rotor along a channel formed inside the rotor, and then flows to an inlet side of the impeller such that the fluid circulates outside and inside the rotor, and thus, foreign matters contained in the fluid do not accumulate in an accommodation space between the rotor and the lower casing, and thus, efficiency and durability of a motor can be improved.
