FAN BLADE DEVICE
A fan blade device includes a plurality of main fan blades and extension fan blades. Each main fan blade includes a main fan blade body arranged obliquely, a plurality of first protrusions, and at least one engaging groove. Each extension fan blade includes an extension fan blade body arranged obliquely and having a top surface that is contiguously flush with a top surface of the main fan blade body of a respective main fan blade, a plurality of second protrusions respectively abutting against the first protrusions of the respective main fan blade, and at least one engaging piece engaging the at least one engaging groove of the respective main fan blade.
Diagonal fan having an optimized diagonal impeller
A diagonal fan having an electric motor and a diagonal impeller which can be driven about an axis of rotation (RA) by means of the electric motor. The diagonal impeller determines an air inlet and an air outlet and has a hub and impeller vanes which are distributed in the circumferential direction, extend radially outwards from the hub and are surrounded radially externally by a slinger ring. A flow angle αD formed by the slinger ring relative to the axis of rotation (RA) increases from the air inlet to the air outlet, and a flow angle αN formed by the hub relative to the axis of rotation (RA) decreases from the air inlet to the air outlet.
Cleaning turbine
Cleaning turbine having a cylindrical shape with an axis or rotation and provided with a concave base surface facing toward the work zone, with an upper surface, opposite the base surface, and a circumferential surface interposed between the base surface and the upper surface. The cleaning turbine is provided circumferentially with a plurality of slits angularly distanced from each other, facing upward and passing through the base surface and the upper surface. The cleaning turbine is also provided with a plurality of lateral apertures each of which extends radially from the slits to the circumferential surface.
DUCTED FAN
A ducted fan that includes a housing with a cylindrical or substantially cylindrical shape, a ring motor in the housing, and fan blades extending radially inward from an inner circumferential surface of the ring motor. The housing includes a first housing that covers a first side in an axial direction of the ring motor and a second housing that covers a second side in the axial direction of the ring motor. The second housing includes through holes penetrating the second housing at a portion on the second side in the axial direction with respect to the ring motor. The housing includes an outer circumferential wall including first and second wall portions located in outer circumferential portions of the first and second housings. The outer circumferential wall includes opening portions defined by a gap between the first and second wall portions.
ADDITIVE MANUFACTURED COMPONENTS INCLUDING INTEGRALLY FORMED PASSAGES, CHANNELS, AND CONDUITS, AND METHODS OF FORMING SAME
Additively manufactured components including unitary bodies. The component may include a unitary body having a component section. The component section may include at least one passage extending at least partially through the component section. The unitary body may also include a supplemental section formed integral with the component section. The supplemental section may be disposed over the passage(s) of the component section and may include a channel extending at least partially through the supplemental section. The channel may be in fluid communication with the passage(s) of the component section. Additionally, the unitary body may include a transition conduit positioned within the component section and the supplemental section. The transition conduit may extend between the passage(s) of the component section and the channel of the supplemental section to fluidly couple the passage(s) and the channel.
Cooling fan module
The cooling fan module may include a fan assembly and a fan shroud. The fan shroud of the cooling fan module may include a first sidewall that may extend in a radial direction and define an opening. The fan assembly may include a hub disposed within the opening, a blade extending from the hub to a distal end that may include a first side and a second side converging to form a first leading edge with respect to the rotational direction. The fan assembly may include a winglet that may include a first fin, extending in the axial direction from the distal end of the blade and a second fin extending in the radial direction.
Duct vane rotation system
One embodiment is a rotor system comprising a duct ring; a hub disposed centrally to the duct ring; first and second stators each connected between the duct ring and the hub; first and second control vanes rotatably connected to the first and second stators, respectively; a structural hoop having a first end connected to the first control vane and a second end connected to the second control vane, the structural hoop for translating rotation of the first control vane about a vane axis to the second control vane; and a mechanism for restricting at least one of forward-aft movement and side-to-side movement of the structural hoop relative to the duct ring.
Convertible ducted fan engine
A convertible ducted fan engine having a shroud, a drive shaft connected to a mechanical fan, and a rotational drive motor configured to rotate the mechanical fan. An embodiment includes a linear drive motor configured to translate the drive shaft and mechanical fan in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the shroud. The convertible ducted fan engine includes a fluid-propulsion configuration in which the mechanical fan rotates freely with respect to the shroud to produce thrust through fluid flow, and a drive-wheel configuration in which the shroud rotates about the rotational axis.
IMPELLER OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
An impeller of a motor vehicle, in particular a cooling fan, comprising a hub, to which a number of fan blades are connected. The fan blades are inclined in relation to a rotational axis of the impeller and have in each case a section which in the top view is S-shaped along the rotational axis.
DUCTED FAN ASSEMBLY WITH A MOVABLE LEADING EDGE
In an embodiment, a ducted fan assembly includes a housing that further includes a rotor. The ducted fan assembly also includes a rim that defines an opening surrounding at least a portion of the housing. The ducted fan assembly also includes a movable leading edge that is attached to the rim and extends around at least a portion of a perimeter of the ducted fan assembly, where the movable leading edge is adjustable between at least a first position and a second position.
