A radiator fan module for a motor vehicle has a fan shroud with a fan impeller aperture and a motor support disposed within the fan impeller aperture, for an electric motor, and has a support-side housing part and has a plurality of struts that are connected to the fan shroud. A fan impeller is disposed in the fan impeller aperture and is driven in rotation about an axis of rotation. The fan impeller has a hub-side housing part and a plurality of radially outwardly directed radiator fan blades disposed on the hub-side housing part. The support-side housing part and the hub-side housing part have different diameters, wherein the support-side housing part or the hub-side housing part that has a greater diameter overlaps the other of the support-side housing part or the hub-side housing part, with an air gap being formed.

A shroud is coupled to a radially outer end of the plurality of fan blades. The shroud includes an axially oriented protrusion extending from a distal end of the shroud towards the fan casing and a clearance is formed between the protrusion and the casing defining a convoluted flow path.

The outlet guide vane device homogenizes an airflow generated by the diagonal impeller. The device has an air outlet with a specified outlet diameter B. The diagonal fan extends over a total axial length E. The ratio of the total axial length E to the outlet diameter B is configured such that 0.3≤E/B≤0.6.

A blade, an impeller and a fan are provided. A trailing edge (12) of the blade (1) is provided with at least one concave arc segment (15). At least one end point of the at least one concave arc segment (15) is located between a radial outer edge (13) of the blade (1) and a radial inner edge (14) of the blade (1). The blade (1) is provided with at least one ridge structure protruding from a pressure surface (18) of the blade (1) toward a suction surface (17) of the blade (1). The blade is provided with at least one concave arc segment at a trailing edge thereof on the basis of a bionics principle, and is further provided with a ridge structure, thus improving an airflow pattern at the trailing edge of the blade by means of changing a shape of the blade, and reducing noise accordingly.

Hub passages through fan hub connect passage discharge sections to chambers.
