Pasteurized juice products formed from raw cannabis are provided. First, a cannabis juice purée having a particular cannabinoid profile is formed. Next, the cannabis juice purée is pasteurized without decarboxylating any cannabinoids in the cannabis juice purée thereby obtaining a pasteurized cannabis juice purée. In one example, the pasteurizing is performed using flash pasteurization, such as a High Temperature Short Time (HTST) pasteurization process. The flash pasteurization process neutralizes pathogens such as bacteria and parasites. Next, the pasteurized cannabis juice purée is packaged into a container thereby obtaining a packaged pasteurized cannabis juice purée. The container is a food-grade bottled juice container, an ice pop container, or a juice cube container. The packaged pasteurized cannabis juice purée contains only non-decarboxylated cannabinoids. In other embodiments, additional cannabinoids are added before or after the HTST pasteurization process. In other embodiments, the packaged pasteurized cannabis juice purée includes decarboxylated cannabinoids.

PROCESSES AND DEVICES FOR FREEZING ORGANIC PRODUCTS
20210337836 · 2021-11-04 ·

The invention relates to a process of freezing an organic product using a freezing device. The process includes introducing an organic product inside a tank of the freezing device containing a freezing solvent set to a predefined temperature. The freezing solvent is an alcohol/aqueous based solution including at least one inhibitor. Nitrogen is passed in a form of bubbles into the freezing solvent through a gas permeable structure placed inside the tank. The freezing solvent is circulated from the tank, through a liquid transmission means and back into the tank using a pump to maintain the freezing solvent at the predefined temperature. The freezing solvent is agitated using at least one agitator placed within the tank. The steps of passing nitrogen, circulating and agitating the freezing solvent are performed until a core temperature of the organic product reaches the predefined temperature.

KOMBUCHA BEVERAGE MANUFACTURED WITH MITRAGYNA SPECIOSA (KRATOM) AND METHODS THEREOF
20230276830 · 2023-09-07 ·

An unpasteurized bottled kombucha beverage including kratom, and method thereof. The method includes providing kratom in a sweetened aqueous solution. The kratom includes major kratom alkaloids including mitragynine (MTG), speciogynine (SPG), speciocilliatine (SPC), corynantheidine (COR), 7-hydroxymitragynine (7HMG) and paynantheine (PAY) to define a first alkaloid mix. Next a scoby is added to the aqueous solution to ferment the aqueous solution including the kratom. The step of fermentation yields a second alkaloid mix that do not significantly vary from the first alkaloid mix on a percentage basis e.g. within 10%. The scoby thus produces suspended probiotics and naturally yields a complex of B vitamins during fermentation. The second alkaloid mix, B vitamins and probiotics cooperate to sooth stress in a consumer, particularly stress caused by addictions.
