Fastener migration limiting feature
A retaining clip for constraining a heat shield for use with an aircraft wheel assembly. The retaining clip includes a first end and a second end axially opposite the first end, the first end being opposite the second end along a longitudinal axis. The retaining clip further includes a first side and a second side each having a curvature forming a U-shaped cross section such that an outer edge of each of the first side and the second side extends back towards the longitudinal axis. The retaining clip further includes a migration stop defined by the first side at the first end, the migration stop extending past the outer edge of the second side and configured to interface with hooks of the heat shield to resist axial movement of the retaining clip relative to the heat shield.
Fixing device
A fixing device includes a substrate, a slot, a fixing bracket. The slot is disposed on the substrate, and a first end of an expansion unit is inserted in the slot. The fixing bracket is disposed on the substrate, in which the fixing bracket includes a force receiving upper portion and a supporting lower portion. An accommodating space is defined between the force receiving upper portion and the supporting lower portion. When a force is applied to or released from the force receiving upper portion, the force receiving upper portion elastically deforms or elastically recovers. Therefore, the fixing bracket switches between an open state and a fixing state for enabling the accommodating space to selectively accommodate a second end of the expansion unit.
Fastner
A fastener is configured to fix a pair of opposing flaps of a box in a closed state. The fastener includes a receiving part, a pressing part opposing the receiving part, a linking part interposed between the receiving part and the pressing part, spaces on both sides of the linking part between the receiving part and the pressing part constituting insertion areas into which the flaps of the box are to be inserted, and a cutter part on the receiving part, the pressing part, or the linking part.
ASSEMBLY PART FOR CONNECTING A DASHBOARD TO A BODY PART OF A VEHICLE
The invention relates to an assembly part for connecting a dashboard to a body part of a vehicle, the assembly part comprising: a male first portion able to engage with the dashboard, and a female second portion able to engage with the body part of the vehicle via a unidirectional and adjustable approaching movement, the male portion being substantially flat and extending in a longitudinal direction from a first end in contact with the female portion to a hook-shaped free second end, the male portion and/or the female portion being configured to prevent translational movement between the dashboard and the body part when the male portion is engaged with the dashboard and the female portion is engaged with the body part.
Dispenser including sensing device for removable mounting to adapter and associated methods
A sensing device is provided for removable mounting to an adapter, the sensing device having a main body including a sensor, and at least one mounting foot for mounting the sensing device to the adapter. The mounting foot includes a supporting contact part with a supporting surface for supporting the sensing device on a sensing-device averted attachment surface of the mating adapter, and a connecting part connecting the supporting contact part to the main body.
Method and apparatus for selectively attaching a first item to a second item
An attaching apparatus includes a first member which has an axle member. A second member has a slot having a center plane and a cylindrical channel having a longitudinal centerline. The longitudinal centerline of the cylindrical channel lies within said center plane of said slot. The second member has a grip operatively associated with a spring and moveable between a first extended position and a second compressed position. The grip can selectively secure the axle member of said first member within the cylindrical chamber.
Demountable assembly structure
A demountable assembly structure includes a first body, second body, and engaging component. The first body has a first sliding surface and a slide switch recess positioned proximate to the first sliding surface. The second body has a second sliding surface and an engaging channel positioned proximate to the second sliding surface. The engaging channel is opposite the slide switch recess. The engaging component has a slide switch and a resilient element. The resilient element has a basal portion fixedly disposed in the slide switch recess and a resilient engaging arm extended from the basal portion to the engaging channel and engaged inside the engaging channel. The resilient engaging arm has a guide surface opposite the engaging channel. When the first sliding surface slides onto the second sliding surface, the resilient engaging arm gets engaged inside the engaging channel by having the guide surface slid along the engaging channel.
Stacking latch mechanism
The present invention relates to a latch mechanism configured to secure two bodies together by simply placing one body on top of the other and applying moderate downward pressure to the top body. The latch mechanism includes a housing and a latch partially disposed within the housing. The latch includes a main body, and a primary hook and an opposing secondary hook both extending from the main body. The latch is configured to be rotatable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the primary hook is not obscured by the housing. In the second position, the primary hook is substantially obscured by the housing. The latch mechanism also includes a bias configured to bias the latch toward its first position.
Modular Edge Clip
Disclosed are apparatuses and techniques relating to modular edge clips for fastening a fastening element to an edge of an object. In an aspect, a modular edge clip includes first and second edge clip modules. The edge clip modules include retaining elements and latching connection elements. The respective latching elements having latching claws which, in collaboration with the other edge clip module serve as a counter-bearing, are designed to latch the modular edge clip onto the edge. The latching connection elements for connecting the respective edge clip modules to one another by way of a latching connection. The edge clip modules, in a state connected by the latching connection elements, form a gap between the respective latching elements, into which the edge of the object can be inserted in an insertion direction in order to fasten the edge clip to the edge.
Thermal cycle resistant fastening system for refrigerant fitting
A block fitting assembly comprises a first block having a first fastener aperture formed therethrough, a second block having a second fastener aperture formed therethrough in axial alignment with the first fastener aperture, and a fastener extending through the first fastener aperture and the second fastener aperture to couple the first block to the second block. The block fitting assembly includes a thermal expansion compliancy feature in the form of at least one of an inner surface of the second block defining the second fastener aperture including an axially extending non-threaded portion adjacent a threaded portion thereof or the fastener including a necked portion having a smaller outer diameter than a minor thread diameter of a threaded portion of the fastener.
