A clamping system for fastening a cooling unit on a circulating supporting element of a caterpillar-type casting machine includes at least one connecting element, which is pre-tensioned in its longitudinal direction by a spring, and a clamping arrangement, by which the cooling unit is fastenable on the supporting element. The connecting element is accommodated in a displaceably mounted manner in the direction of its longitudinal axis inside the supporting element. The clamping arrangement is formed by a head on an upper end face of the connecting element and a recess, which is provided on/in the cooling unit and is brought into interaction therewith. The connecting element is pre-tensioned by the spring toward the supporting element and is transferred into a clamping position, in which the cooling unit, when the head of the connecting element engages with the recess provided on/in the cooling unit, is automatically clamped with the supporting element.
Sealed coupling fastener assemblies
A fastener assembly is configured to be securely coupled with one or more components. The fastener assembly includes a body including a flange, and a gasket that is secured to the flange. The body is configured to securely couple to a clip. The body includes one or more features that are configured to cooperate with one or more reciprocal features of the clip to increase retention strength.
Detachable fastener assembly
A fastener assembly includes a plunger, a grommet, and a lever arm. The plunger may include a head, a tip portion, and a longitudinal centerline axis. The grommet may be configured to receive the tip portion of the plunger. The tip portion of the plunger may be axially movable relative to the grommet between a latched state and an unlatched state. The lever arm may be coupled to the plunger between the head and the tip portion. The lever arm extends from the plunger at an angle relative to the longitudinal centerline axis, with the lever arm being actuatable to switch the fastener assembly from the latched state to the unlatched state, according to various embodiments.
CLIP FOR CONNECTING A COVER PANEL TO A VEHICLE BODY, AN ARRANGEMENT, AND A VEHICLE
The invention relates to a clip for connecting a cover panel to a vehicle body. The clip comprises an annular inner portion defining a central through hole for receiving a fastening means for securing the clip to the vehicle body. The clip also comprises a plurality of leg portions for snap-locking a cover panel to be mounted to the vehicle body. The leg portions extend radially from the annular inner portion and are circumferentially distributed and separated from each other by void spaces. Each leg portion has an initial contact surface. Each leg portion is configured to flex radially inwardly towards the annular inner portion when the initial contact surface is subjected to a pressing force, and to snap radially outwardly when said pressing force on the initial contact surface as ceased. The axial extension of the annular inner portion is shorter than the axial extension of the leg portions.
Coupling systems
A coupling device comprising a base member connectable to a first item and a release member connectable to a second item, the base and release members being releasably connectable together. The base member has a front face including a pocket. The release member comprises a body which is configured to be received in the pocket in a coupled position. The pocket has an open access end through which the release member can be slidingly inserted and removed. The base member includes a stop member moveable, by an actuator, between a lock position in which the stop member interengages with the release member to prevent removal of the release member from the pocket of the base member, and a release position in which the release member can be separated from the base member. Alignment feature for an elastic averaging alignment system
A method of assembly includes forming a first member to include a plurality of elastically deformable locating protrusions extending outward from an exterior surface of the first member. A locating protrusion is an elongate member having an arcuate portion, a first linear leg portion extending from a first arc end, and a second leg portion extending from a second arc end. The method additionally includes forming a second member to include a plurality of elastically deformable compression features. The locating protrusions are inserted in press fit engagement with the plurality of compression features such that the first member and the second member are secured relative to each other and the average of the elastic deformation between all of the plurality of locating protrusions and all of the plurality of compression features precisely aligns the first member relative to the second member.
Windshield Trim Panel Clips
A non-destructive fastener clip is presented. The non-destructive fastener clip is a suitable aftermarket replacement for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) trim clip. These OEM trim clips often break upon disassembly from removing an automotive trim panel from an automotive fixture. The non-destructive fastener clip assembly contains an anchor fastener, and a fastener clip. The anchor fastener comprises an anchoring element and a receiving element. The fastener clip comprises an upper fastener portion, a lower fastener portion, at least one connecting element, and at least one latching element. The anchoring element is connected terminally adjacent to the receiving element. The at least one connecting element is distributed about the lower fastener portion. The at least one latching element is distributed about the upper fastener portion. Each of the at least one connecting element is connected adjacent to the receiving element.

A product dispenser mounting system includes a dispenser holder body configured to support a product dispenser; and a mounting apparatus configured to fixedly mount on a support object and to removably connect to the dispenser holder body in one or more orientations such that dispenser holder body is maintained in a selected one of the one or more orientations when the dispenser holder body is connected to the mounting apparatus. The system may also include at least one actuation sensor configured to detect actuation of the product dispenser.
