Rail mounting apparatus, system and method of securing devices to a structure
A retention apparatus, system and method is useful for attaching items, panels or other devices to a rail formed in longitudinal lengths and configured with a cross-sectional profile having multiple cooperating structures between the rail and a channel nut including a recess formed between a tooth and shelf on an interior first channel portion of the rail and a flange of the channel nut, between an anchor latch of the rail and hook flange on the channel nut, and cooperating forces and movement of the biasing element secured to the channel nut.
Resilient mounting clips, panel mount systems including the same, and associated methods
Resilient mounting clips, panel mount systems including the same, and associated methods. A resilient mounting clip includes a support structure engagement portion and a panel engagement portion with a plurality of edge extensions and a plurality of outboard panel supports. Each outboard panel support extends from a respective edge extension. Each outboard panel support is configured to move at least substantially parallel to a compression axis when the respective edge extension resiliently flexes with respect to the support structure engagement portion. A panel mount system includes at least one support structure, at least one resilient mounting clip, and at least two panels received by each mounting clip. A method of assembling a panel mount system includes positioning and securing a resilient mounting clip on a support structure and receiving each of a first panel and a second panel with the resilient mounting clip.
LOCKING T-BOLTS, POST SLEEVES, POST SLEEVES WITH SHEAR CONNECTIONS, AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A post sleeve including a first mounting plate including a first mounting hole. The post sleeve also can include a second mounting plate including a second mounting hole, The post sleeve additionally can include a channel portion extending between the first mounting plate and the second mounting plate. The channel portion can include a channel configured to secure a post within the channel. The first and second mounting plates can be configured to be attached to an anchor channel of an edge angle. Other embodiments are described.
Container storage apparatus and system
An apparatus and system for removably storing an object in an area having one or more area supports so as to position the container below the area supports and above the floor of the area. The apparatus has a support rail that mounts to the area supports and a container engaging section that securely holds the object. The container engaging section has a static support assembly and a dynamic support assembly defining a space for the object. The static support assembly engages one side of the object. The dynamic support assembly has a dynamic support that connects to a moving mechanism so it will move along the support rail to engage an opposing side of the object. A biasing mechanism biases the dynamic support toward the static support assembly to secure the object therebetween. The support rail has a track and the moving mechanism moves along the track.
REAR SEALING BRACKET AND CABINET INCLUDING REAR SEALING BRACKET
A bracket for coupling at least three frame members to one another may include a structural portion including at least one relatively rigid first material, and a sealing portion including at least one second material different than the at least one first material. The bracket may also include first, second, and third receivers, each including a retainer portion configured to be coupled to an end of a respective frame member, and a sealing interface configured to provide a substantially dirt-resistant and fluid-resistant seal between a portion of the end of the respective frame member and the respective receiver. The bracket and frame members may form a joint configured to be incorporated into a frame for forming a cabinet.
Mounting System, Devices, Methods and Uses Thereof
The present specification discloses systems, devices, and methods provide a mounting system which includes rail and a bracket which is selectively secured to the rail. The bracket is selectively and/or automatically locked to the rail when positioned on the rail, and may be removed from the rail by activating one or more buttons or actuators. The disclosed mounting systems, devices, and methods enable a device to be protected from impact and moisture exposure, enable a device to be securely mounted on a base, and/or enable a device to be quickly secured and removed from a base.
SOCKET HOLDER AND SOCKET RACK INCLUDING THE SAME
A socket holder is provided, including: a seat, a sleeving member and a locking mechanism. The sleeving member includes a neck portion which is configured to be assembled with a socket. The sleeving member is movably assembled with the seat. The locking mechanism includes at least one first locking portion, at least one second locking portion which is releasably engagable with the at least one first locking portion, and an operational portion which is movable together with the at least one first locking portion. One of the at least one first locking portion and the at least one second locking portion is disposed on the seat and the other is disposed on the sleeving member. The operational portion includes an operational member which is located out of the neck portion and operable from outside of the socket holder.
Pole assembly with dovetail cam structure for accessory mounting
A pole assembly includes an elongated tubular member having an outer periphery with a pair of grooves therein, each groove defining a concave sidewall portion and a flat sidewall portion, a cam member comprising a plate-shaped portion and a pair of arms extending from a surface of the plate-shaped portion, the cam member configured to, while the major surface is adjacent a portion of the outer periphery, be rotated to cause each arm of the pair of arms to engage a respective groove of the pair of grooves, and a mount portion comprising a body defining a cavity having a pair of elongated sidewalls configured to engage respective outer surfaces of the pair of arms while the mount portion covers the cam member and the cam member is at least partially within the cavity to prevent the pair of arms from disengaging from the pair of grooves.
Precursor for a furring channel clip, furring channel clip formed therefrom, method of making a furring channel clip, and method of mounting a furring channel to a load bearing member
Disclosed is a precursor for a clip and a clip formed by the precursor. The clip is configured for mounting a furring channel to a load-bearing member and is a generally U-shaped member having a pair of sidewalls, each of which includes a pair of tabs projecting therefrom. The clip is arranged to receive the load-bearing member between its sidewalls, such that the tabs can be snap-fit under inwardly directed flanges of the furring channel. Also disclosed is a method of forming the clip from the precursor, by bending portions of the precursor to form the sidewalls of the clip, and a method for mounting a furring channel onto a load-bearing member using the clip.
Wall-Mounted, Configurable Storage System
In a wall-mounted shelving and/or storage system, vertical standards are mounted to a wall using a plurality of individual cleats arranged in vertical columns and horizontal rows. The width of each cleat is smaller than the width of the standard, so that it can be hidden within the standard when mounted. Formed on the back of each vertical standard are a plurality of transverse edges at predefined intervals, in known spatial relationships with bracket connection points, for cooperating with the cleats to properly position and orient the standards at the correct height with respect to each other.
