Coupling Assemblies Having Frangible Portions
A coupling assembly for coupling a first component to a second component, the coupling assembly includes a pin and a housing. The pin includes a shaft and a pin frangible portion formed in the shaft. The housing includes a hollow body and a housing frangible portion formed in the hollow body. The housing is configured to receive the pin such that the shaft of the pin is received within the hollow body. When the pin is received in the hollow body the pin frangible portion aligns with the housing frangible portion.

A fastener assembly including a hollow and structurally collapsible stem over an intermediate extending range, a solid end most extending portion being structurally rigid. A receiving portion is constructed of a deformable material having a surface, within which is configured an inner rim defined edge of a deformable material. The inner rim edge can include either of a flat profile or a chamfered shape with a narrowed profile, a diameter of an aperture bounded by the chamfered edge being less than a diameter of the solid end portion so that, upon insertion and passage of the solid portion through the narrowed rim profile, initial deformation of the chamfered rim edge shape preceding alignment of the interiorly hollowed portion, which is subsequently caused to exhibit a controlled collapse by the rim edge in order to secure the stem within the receiving portion.

A cable mounting device for securing a cable. The cable mounting device includes a spacer having an elongated body with a base end and a top end distal from the base end. The cable mounting device further includes a cable fastener integrally formed with the spacer on a side of the elongated body approximate to the top end. The cable fastener includes a locking head and a strap that engage to form a closed loop that is non-overlapping with an area directly above the top end of the spacer.
Fastening System for Securing a Component to a Mounting Device for a High-Temperature Process
A fastening system for securing a mounting tool configured to retain a component that is to undergo a high-temperature process. The mounting tool has a first portion having a first tab with a first slot and a second portion having a second tab with a second slot. The fastening system comprises an outer clip including outer clip arms and a central portion. The outer clip arms have a gap therebetween. The central portion protrudes into the gap. The fastening system includes an inner clip including inner clip arms. The inner clip is pushed into the gap such that each inner clip arm contacts and pushes one outer clip arm towards the first tab and the second tab. When the fastening system is inserted into the first slot and the second slot, the fastening system limits relative movement between the first tab and the second tab.
Bearing assembly
A bearing device is disclosed and can include a bushing. The bushing can include a hollow body that can have an internal diameter, ID.sub.HB, and proximal ends and distal ends opposite each other. The bushing can also include a first bushing flange extending radially outwardly from the proximal end of the body and an axial extension extending from the distal end of the hollow body. The axial extension is deformable so as to form a second bushing flange extending radially outwardly from the distal and of the hollow body. The axial extension can have an internal diameter, ID.sub.AE, ID.sub.HB.
