NUT AND TOOL
A nut, including a first female thread for threading a bolt thereinto, a head surrounding the first female thread, for holding the first female thread, for allowing rotating the bolt in relation to the first female thread; and a first male thread, for threading the nut through a plate.
System for joining or reinforcing components
The invention relates to a system for joining two components or for reinforcing a component, comprising a first and a second threaded sleeve which each comprise the following: an outer thread, with the aid of which the threaded sleeve can be screwed into the respective component and which is suitable to form a composite with the respective component, and a power drive, by which a torque for screwing the threaded sleeve into the respective component can be transmitted to the threaded sleeve. The system further comprises an elongate clamping element which is suitable to be guided through the second threaded sleeve and introduced into or guided through the first threaded sleeve, and which is suitable to axially clamp the first and the second threaded sleeve in such a manner that the first and the second threaded sleeve form opposed composite stresses in the respective component.
Wallboard anchor
An anchor for wallboard installation includes an elongated anchor body including a driving end and a wall boring end. The anchor body has a main body portion running from the driving end toward the wall boring end. The wall boring end includes a plurality of axially cutting extending teeth. The anchor body includes an internal bore and diametrically opposed slots to facilitate split of an end portion of the anchor body when the anchor is installed in a wall and a fastener is inserted for mounting an object.
Moldable wire thread insert, method for its production, component with a moldable wire thread insert as well as a method for its production
A moldable wire thread insert for reinforcing a screw-in opening of a component has the following characteristics: a cylindrical spiral made of a helically, wound wire, the neighboring coils of which are arranged such that a closed cylindrical spiral wall is present, while at least one end of the cylindrical spirals has a fastening flange, which extends radially outwards over the cylindrical spiral wall and with which the wire thread insert is anchorable in the component and/or one end of the cylindrical spiral is designed in a planar manner in order to form an even axial front surface of the cylindrical spiral.
ANCHOR FASTENER
An anchor fastener is described. The anchor fastener includes a head, a generally cylindrical shaft extending from the head, a base at a distal end of the shaft, and at least one frangible portion configured to frangibly connect the shaft to the base. The shaft includes a helical thread that extends along an outer surface of the shaft towards the distal end of the shaft. The frangible portions are separable from the base and the shaft under application of a force to the shaft. The base includes a distal surface and an engagement portion configured to engage an object to be anchored to a mounting surface and configured to hold the anchor fastener to the object before installation of the shaft through the object and into the mounting surface. The base includes a thread guide configured to support the helical thread during installation of the shaft.
Threaded sleeve
The invention relates to a threaded sleeve for screwing into a receiving opening of a workpiece, with a core and a thread mounted outside on the core, wherein the thread has three thread turns, wherein the thread turns have a thread profile, wherein the thread profile has a flank angle of 25 to 35, wherein with an outer diameter of 8 mm to 14 mm the pitch of the thread is in the range of 0.5 to 1.0 times the outer diameter of the threaded sleeve and with an outer diameter greater than 14 mm to 40 mm, pitch of the thread is in the range of 0.25 to 0.65 times the outer diameter of the threaded sleeve, and wherein the thread depth of the thread profile is in the range of 0.03 times to 0.15 times the outer diameter of the threaded sleeve.
Method for Producing a Composite Fiber Component with an Integrated Screw-In Insert
A method is provided for producing a composite fiber component with an integrated screw-in insert. A pressing tool is provided. The pressing tool has a first tool part and a second tool part that can be moved in relation to the first tool part. The parts form a cavity for receiving and forming a fiber preform, when the pressing tool is closed. A screw-in insert is connected to a screw device integrated into the first tool part. The fiber preform is arranged between the first and the second tool parts. The pressing tool is at least partially closed. The screw device is actuated in order to screw the screw-in insert into the fiber preform. The fiber preform is cured.
Waterfall thread for inserts
An external surface for a fastener insert to be embedded in a component includes waterfall threads extending along an outer surface of the portion to be embedded. The waterfall thread includes a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being more axially oriented on the surface than the second portion, and the second portion being more circumferentially oriented on the surface than the first portion. Continuous transitions are provided between adjacent first and second portions in a thread.
Moldable wire thread insert, method for its production, component with a moldable wire thread insert as well as a method for its production
