Mounting structure of bearing member and speed reducing apparatus
An object is to provide a mounting structure of a bearing member which enables size and weight reduction of entire apparatus and also contributes to cost reduction thereof. The mounting structure of a bearing member includes: a bearing member for supporting a rotary shaft; a case member to which the bearing member is mounted; and a mounting plate for clamping the bearing member in an axial direction of the rotary shaft in conjunction with the case member, wherein the mounting plate includes a mounting portion of a counter member which is mounted to the case member and clamps the case member in the axial direction in conjunction with the counter member.
Boot needle roller bearing
A boot needle roller bearing is designed to reduce friction between a flexible boot non-rotatably attached to a differential housing and a rotatable half-shaft. A plurality of rollers is retained axially between a first lip formed in the outer ring and a set of protrusions that are formed after installation of the rollers by bending prongs inwardly. The inner ring is retained axially between the protrusions and a second lip formed into the outer ring after installation of the inner ring.
HYBRID MODULE HAVING AN ACTUATION UNIT COMPRISING A NEEDLE BEARING, AND HYBRID DRIVE TRAIN
A hybrid module for a drive train of a motor vehicle comprises a housing, a disconnect clutch, and a hydraulic actuating unit cooperating with the disconnect clutch and received on the housing. The module includes an electric motor, wherein a rotor of the electric motor is rotationally coupled to a clutch component of the disconnect clutch. The actuating unit has a piston element, which is received such that it is displaceable relative to the housing and which, via an actuating bearing, is connected to a pressure element such that it is fixed against displacement in an axial direction of the disconnect clutch yet rotatable relative to the pressure element. The pressure element is configured for engagement and disengagement of the disconnect clutch, and the actuating bearing is formed as an axial needle bearing.
Bearing and bearing protector apparatus and methods
Bearing and bearing protector with improved performance characteristics, reduced material use, lower cost of manufacturing and maintenance. Bearing protector includes air permeable element (e.g., wool, felt) that is configured to allow passage of air while preventing dust and other particulars from entering the bearing thereby improving bearing operation and longevity. Felt may be impregnated with a lubrication fluid to provide additional lubrication and protection. A self-lubricating bearing (SLB) is manufactured from an engineering plastic and is fitted with integrated bearing protector. The self-lubricating bearing includes one or more linear groves. When fitted onto an axle, the groves may receive excess plastic material that may occur during thermal expansion of the bearing during operation due to friction and heating. Plastic material may include an antifiction agent and the groves may be packed with consistent lubricant in order to reduce friction and improve performance.
Axle assembly having a spigot bearing assembly
An axle assembly having a spigot bearing assembly. The spigot bearing assembly may extend between a motor housing and a rotor output flange that may be fixedly mounted to a rotor. The spigot bearing assembly may rotatably support the rotor output flange and may inhibit deflection of the rotor. A spigot bearing biasing member may exert a biasing force on the spigot bearing assembly.
Rolling element bearing cage with supporting frame and reinforcing frame
The invention relates to a rolling element bearing cage formed of one or more segments, each segment comprising: a supporting frame having a plurality of spaced apart openings each for accommodating a rolling element; and a reinforcing frame, inserted within the supporting frame, having a corresponding plurality of openings each for aligning with the openings of the supporting frame.
ROLLING BEARING, NOTABLY LARGE-DIAMETER ROLLING BEARING
A rolling bearing provides an inner ring and an outer ring concentrically about a rotation axis X-X running in an axial direction, and at least first and second axial bearings each axially disposed between the inner ring and the outer ring and each having at least one row of rolling elements, the first and second axial bearings being spaced apart from each other in the axial direction. The rolling bearing further provides only one radial bearing radially disposed between the inner ring and the outer ring and having at least one row of rolling elements. The radial bearing is disposed between an outer raceway located on the inner ring and an inner raceway located on the outer ring.
AUXILLIARY POWER TAKE-OFF ASSEMBLY
An auxiliary power take-off assembly in a motor vehicle transmission, which has a torque converter, a transmission input and a transmission output. The auxiliary power take-off assembly includes: an input shaft at the transmission input, and which is permanently connected to a drive motor of the motor vehicle by way of the pump shaft of the torque converter; a transmission output shaft at the transmission output; a transmission chain, which includes an input element and an output element and the output element of which can be connected to an auxiliary assembly to be driven; and a switching element, which is operatively arranged between the input shaft and the input element of the transmission chain, to selectively connect the input shaft to the output element. The output element is arranged on an output shaft, which is mounted in a bearing cap.
SWASH PLATE BEARING
A swash plate bearing is disclosed. The swash plate bearing may have an arcuate cage member having at least one flange and a plurality of rolling elements rotatably coupled to the at least one flange. A coupling seat extends laterally from the at least one flange, the coupling seat may have an insertion hole. A link member may be rotatably coupled to the cage member, the link member having a central portion positioned between a first terminal portion and a second terminal portion. A first stem connects the central portion to the first terminal portion and a second stem connects the central portion to the second terminal portion. The central portion is positioned in the insertion hole.
Mast bearing system for a tiltrotor aircraft
A tiltrotor aircraft may be provided and may include a mast assembly, in which the mast assembly may include a mast; a bearing system; a housing; and a housing cap secured to the housing, wherein the bearing system is between the mast and the housing. The bearing system may further include a first bearing assembly including a first inner race, a first outer race, and a plurality of first tapered roller bearings; a second bearing assembly including a second inner race, a second outer race, and a plurality of second tapered roller bearings; an inner spacer and an outer spacer in which the inner and outer spacers are between the first and second bearing assemblies; and a retaining device in which the retaining device and the housing cap provide, at least in part, pre-loading for the first and second bearing assemblies.
