Bearing cage segment of a sheet metal cage

A sheet metal bearing cage segment includes a first sheet metal ring section, at least one second sheet metal ring section, and a plurality of bridges connecting the first ring section and the at least one second ring section to each other, adjacent pairs of the bridges forming pockets configured to receive at least one rolling element. At least one edge of the first ring section and/or at least one edge of the at least one second ring section and/or of one of the bridges is at least partially formed by laser cutting. Also a method of forming a sheet metal bearing cage at least partially by laser cutting.

Balance shaft

A balance shaft is proposed that includes: i) an unbalance shaft having an unbalance section and an adjacent bearing pin having a cylindrical partial circumference which is oriented towards the shaft imbalance; ii) a bearing ring which surrounds the bearing pin and bears against the cylindrical partial circumference and delimits a free space with a bearing pin back radially opposite thereto; and, iii) a clamping element which is clamped in the free space and clamps the bearing ring radially against the cylindrical partial circumference. The clamping element is intended to secure the bearing ring against axial sliding on both sides on the bearing pin, and the clamping element is connected in an axially interlocking manner to the unbalance shaft on one side and to the bearing ring on the other side.

The cage bar (21) includes an end portion (22) and a middle portion located radially inward from the end portion (22). The end portion (22) has an outer retaining protrusion (25) formed therein, the outer retaining protrusion protruding into the pocket and configured to contact the roller to restrict radially outer movement of the roller. The end portion (22) of the cage bar (21) has an oil groove (31) in an inner peripheral surface (26) thereof, the oil groove extending in the circumferential direction and connecting to the outer retaining protrusion (25).

An axial rolling bearing consisting of at least one annular bearing disc which has a circumferential raceway arched in profile cross section, and consisting of a multiplicity of rolling elements formed as bearing needles or bearing rollers and arranged next to one another in a circular form, which roll on the raceway of the bearing disc and are kept at uniform distances from one another by a bearing cage. The arched raceway is formed having at least one circumferential groove-shaped depression at least in the region of one of the two ends of the rolling elements.

The first sealing element by way of the first internal side in a sealing manner encircles a shaft external side of the shaft. A first material of the first sealing element largely comprises polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

A first sealing element is fastened in a locationally fixed manner to the sealing element support on the first side of the sealing element support. The first sealing element has a third through opening through which the shaft is guided. The first sealing element by way of a third internal wall of the third through opening bears in an encircling manner on the shaft. And the first sealing element is designed from felt.
