SURFACE PROCESSING METHOD OF DISK MEMBER OF SEALING APPARATUS, AND SEALING APPARATUS
A sealing apparatus which is capable of preventing static leakage of a target to be sealed without increasing sliding resistance with respect to a shaft, and a surface processing method of a disk member of the sealing apparatus which is capable of processing a surface of the disk member, such as a slinger, provided at the sealing apparatus. A surface processing method of a disk member of a sealing apparatus for forming a plurality of fine spiral grooves on a surface of the disk member provided at the sealing apparatus has a grinding member having a plurality of fine projections that is moved to an outer edge side while the grinding member is pressed against the surface of the disk member which relatively rotates around an axis, and the sealing apparatus includes a slinger at which a plurality of fine spiral grooves are randomly formed on another side surface of a flange portion.
BEARING UNIT WITH ROLLING BODIES FOR USE IN THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE INDUSTRY
A bearing unit with rolling bodies for use in the food and beverage industry, for example. The bearing unit may have a high resistance to wear and to corrosion and may have a radially outer ring, stationary, a radially inner ring, rotatable with respect to an axis of rotation (X), and a sealing and protection device mounted on the radially inner ring and on opposite sides of the radially outer ring, both to protect the radially outer ring from the action of external contaminants and to prevent any such external contaminants from getting into a gap between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring. The bearing unit may further have protective layer being arranged in contact with the radially inner ring, and being made of composite polymeric material to isolate and protect the radially inner ring from external contaminants.
POLYMER JOINING RING FOR A BEARING ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure discloses a polymer joining ring for a bearing assembly and is configured to retain a first inner ring and a second inner ring together to the bearing assembly. The polymer joining ring includes an outer surface and an inner surface. The outer surface includes a W or E shaped geometry throughout and includes a pair of flanges extending radially outwards at corners from outer surface, and a semi-circular protrusion extending at middle of the polymer joining ring. The pair of flanges are placed in tapered narrow grooves of the first inner ring and the second inner ring, and the semi-circular protrusion is placed in a triangular shape space produced between the first inner ring and the second inner ring can be tightly connected to each other. The joining ring is made of a polymer material that facilitates ease in assembling and accurate positioning of the inner rings.
Rolling bearing with rotation sensor
A rolling bearing is provided which includes an inner ring; an outer ring; rolling elements disposed in the bearing space; a cage rollably retaining the rolling elements; and a seal member made of a resin. The seal member includes a support frame, a plurality of window holes, and a filter closing the window holes. Lubricating oil flows through the bearing space to lubricate the interior of the rolling bearing. The cage is made of a magnetic material, and has a pulse ring integrally formed at an end of the cage. The rolling bearing further includes a magnetic rotation sensor mounted to the seal member so as to be capable of being opposed to any of recesses and protrusions of the pulse ring.
Closure system for electric motor and corresponding closing procedure
A closure system for a seat of an electric motor adapted for housing a rotor of the electric motor, which is allowed to provide a perfect and resistant sealing of the seat, without the need to apply a resin near the lid. when the lid is at least partially inserted into the seat of the rotor, an annular gasket is disposed in contact between the lid and the seat, one end of the main body of a retaining element, which faces the opening, elastically presses against the central portion of the lid, and an opposite radially protruding end of the tabs of the retaining element, elastically presses against the seat, to prevent the removal of the lid from the seat.
SEALING DEVICE
A sealing device is located between an inner member and an outer member that rotate relative to each other. The sealing device includes a tubular part that is to be mounted on a cylindrical end portion of the outer member, an annular part connected to an end of the tubular part and having a portion located radially inside the end portion of the outer member, at least one lip extending from the annular part toward the inner member. Each of the annular part and the tubular part includes an elastic part and a rigid part. At least one of an upper surface of the annular part that is opposite to the tubular part and a lower surface of the tubular part that is opposite to the annular part is formed of the elastic part. Multiple protrusions are formed on at least one of the upper surface of the annular part and the lower surface of the tubular part, the protrusions protruding along an axial direction of the sealing device. The multiple protrusions are arranged on a circle centered on the central axis and spaced apart from each other.
Universal joint including a seal, seal, and method for installing a seal
A universal joint includes a bush, a bearing journal supported in the bush by a bearing and a seal assembly configured to form a seal between the bearing journal and the bush. The seal assembly includes an outer body formed from a first material having a first hardness, and a reinforcing body at least partially embedded in the outer body is formed from a second material having a hardness greater than the hardness of the first material. The reinforcing body contacts and forms a slip surface for a rolling element of the bearing. The reinforcing body and the outer body are configured such that the reinforcing body compresses a portion of the outer body against the journal when the seal assembly is mounted on the bearing journal.
