Transport securable axial seal assembly
An axial seal assembly includes an inner annular shield having an axial portion disposable about the shaft at a position adjacent to the bearing and a radial portion extending radially outwardly from the axial portion. An outer annular seal has an axial portion engageable with the outer member bore, a radial portion extending radially inwardly from the axial portion and on or more axial sealing lips engaged with the shield radial portion. The seal radial portion is spaced from the shield radial portion by a predetermined axial distance during use. The seal has at least one coupler section engageable with the shield radial portion or the shield axial portion when an axial spacing distance between the seal radial portion and the shield radial portion is less than the predetermined distance to retain the shield coupled with the seal when the seal assembly is separate from an outer member bore.
Sealing assembly for bearings, in particular for use in agriculture
A sealing assembly for bearings, in particular for use in agriculture, comprising a primary sealing barrier and a secondary sealing barrier, which are arranged in series along a potential path (P) of ingress of contaminants into the bearing, and have, respectively, a first seal and a second seal with a plurality of contact lips. The contact lips of the first and second seal with a plurality of contact lips may be static lips that do not rotate about an axis (A) of rotation of the bearing.
Low-friction sealing device for wheel hub assemblies connected to constant-velocity joints
A sealing device for wheel hubs connected to constant-velocity joints including a first sealing assembly arranged between inner and outer rings of the wheel hub, and a second sealing assembly mounted on the inner ring and straddling the wheel hub and an outer ring of the constant-velocity joint. The first sealing assembly has a signal generating element having an annular insert mounted externally on a shield facing the constant-velocity joint and extending axially projecting above part of an annular step formed, on the same side as the constant-velocity joint, on a radially outer side surface of the inner ring, in a position immediately adjacent to the sleeve portion of the first shield. The second sealing assembly includes a tubular support keyed onto the inner ring by its first end on the outside edge folded in the manner of an L and shaped to engage inside the annular insert.
Slewing bearing with sealing arrangement
A slewing bearing includes first and second rings and rolling elements therebetween. The first ring has a shoulder, and a cap is fixed to the first ring that, with the shoulder, defines a radially outwardly facing circumferential groove. A sealing contact member is fixed to a surface of the second ring. A first seal is mounted in the groove, and a sealing member is mounted on the cap. The first seal and the sealing member each include a sealing lip in sliding frictional contact with the sealing contact member.
High-Drainage Wheel Hub Unit
A wheel hub unit provided with a radially outer ring, which is stationary during use; a radially inner ring, which is rotating during use; at least one row of rolling elements interposed between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring; and a sealing assembly, which is interposed between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring. The sealing assembly defines, cooperating with the radially outer ring or with the radially inner ring, a shield of at least one labyrinth seal. The labyrinth seal does not have a circumferential symmetry, but comprises an upper portion and a lower portion with respect to an axis of symmetry (A) of the wheel hub unit and is provided with an angular interruption of the shield formed on its lower portion corresponding to the lower side of the wheel hub unit so as to increase an outflow section thereof from the said labyrinth seal. Thereby, facilitating gravity drainage of contaminants present inside the sealing assembly.
SEALED BEARING
An object of the present invention is to provide a sealed bearing that can reduce electromagnetic noise at all times. A sealed bearing (bearing 100) according to the present invention includes a seal 110 for covering a ball 106 from a side between an inner ring 102 and an outer ring 104. The seal 110 is formed of a conductive resin material, and when an oil film parameter of a track surface of the bearing 100 is 1.0 or more, an impedance of a circuit that passes through the inner ring 102 and the outer ring 104 via the seal 110 is smaller than an impedance of a circuit that passes through the inner ring 102 and the outer ring 104 via the ball 106.
Wheel hub and slinger assembly, wheel bearing assembly, and method of producing wheel hub and slinger assembly
A wheel hub and slinger assembly includes a wheel hub including a base surface, a tolerance compensation portion extending from the base surface and formed to be concave in an axially outward direction, and a flange surface extending from the tolerance compensation portion in a radially outward direction, and a slinger including a mounting portion having an axially inward end portion and a first inner peripheral surface and configured to be press-fitted to the base surface, a bent portion having a second inner peripheral surface spaced apart from the tolerance compensation portion and extending from the mounting portion in a curved surface shape, and an extending portion extending from the bend portion and having a contact surface in contact with the flange surface in the radially outward direction. A stopper having an axially outward end portion surface and a radially outward end portion surface is formed on the wheel hub.
Hub bearing unit with combination displacement limiter and seal
A hub bearing unit includes an inner ring having inboard and outboard axial ends and a bearing inner race on an outer surface. An outer ring disposed about the inner ring has inboard and outboard axial ends and a bearing outer race on an inner surface. One ring is coupled with a wheel and rotatable about an axis and the other ring is fixedly coupled with a frame. An annular displacement limiter extends radially from one ring and has a circumferential stop surface spaced radially from a surface of the other ring. The stop surface engages with the ring surface when the ring displaces radially relative to the other ring. A seal includes an annular sealing member coupled with one ring and is sealingly engageable with the limiter or is mounted on the limiter and sealingly engageable with one ring or a rigid seal member coupled with one ring.
