The invention discloses a thin-wall-long-shaft-low-noise transmission mechanism for pedestal pumps, which includes a stainless steel pipe, a bushing, a pump body, an impeller and a motor, the motor is arranged above the stainless steel pipe, the bushings are embedded at both ends of the stainless steel pipe, the impeller includes an impeller hub shaft, the motor includes a motor shaft, the impeller hub shaft passed through the pump body and connected to the bushing which is embedded in one end of the stainless steel pipe. Through the above solution, this present invention provides a thin-wall-long-shaft-low-noise transmission mechanism for pedestal pumps, the machining precision of thin wall stainless steel pipe is higher than that of a solid metal shaft and a plastic shaft, the strength is higher than that of a plastic shaft, and the noise reduced when the pump is working.

Composite Vehicle Driveshaft With Crash Collapse System

A composite vehicle driveshaft is provided with a crash collapse system that allows for a controlled longitudinal collapse of the driveshaft by facilitating telescopic movement of various components with respect to each other during a crash event. The crash collapse system may include a collapsible joint with a sleeve that is concentrically bonded in an end of a composite tube and a stub end assembly that is spline-engaged and interference fit within the sleeve, such as by way of a press-fit and/or a thermal shrink-fit procedure. This relationship may rotationally lock and axially fix the stub end assembly to the sleeve unless, during a crash event, the composite vehicle driveshaft experiences a compression or push-type force that exceeds a minimum breakaway or collapse force value that longitudinally and telescopically collapses the composite vehicle driveshaft.

A motor includes: a motor shaft including a press-fitting surface; and a first annular projection group and a second annular projection group formed in the press-fitting surface of the motor shaft. The first annular projection group and the second annular projection group are separated from each other in an axial direction, a distance between an adjacent two of annular projections in the first annular projection group and a distance between an adjacent two of annular projections in the second annular projection group are smaller than a distance between the first annular projection group and the second annular projection group in the axial direction.

Rotor of rotary machine
10396611 · 2019-08-27 · ·

A rotor of a rotary machine includes a ring-like fixing member press-fit and fixed to a shaft so as to limit a position of a rotor core in a shaft axial direction and an end plate fixed to an outer peripheral side of the fixing member so as to limit a position of a magnet, embedded in the rotor core, in the shaft axial direction. Influences of a difference in thermal expansion between the shaft and the end plate are lessened by the fixing member. A material is selected so that a value of a coefficient of linear expansion of the fixing member becomes equal to an intermediate value between a coefficient of linear expansion of the shaft made of iron and a coefficient of linear expansion of the end plate made of a non-magnetic body.
