An agricultural header includes: a header frame; at least one cutting unit carried by the header frame and including a cutting element and a driveshaft coupled to the cutting element; and a gearbox configured to drive the cutting element. The gearbox includes a gearbox output rotatably coupled to the driveshaft; and a clutch including an intermediate shaft and at least one clutch shoe rotatably coupled to the intermediate shaft and displaceable between a non-engaging position where the at least one clutch shoe does not engage the gearbox output and an engaging position where the at least one clutch shoe engages the gearbox output. The clutch is configured such that the at least one clutch shoe displaces to the engaging position when a rotational speed of the intermediate shaft reaches a threshold value.

The indicator tab of the leaf spring is configured to indicate when at least one friction pad of the centrifugal clutch is in need of replacement. This indication may be in the form of an audible sound generated when the indicator tab engages the internally facing surface of the drum. The indicator tab may be configured to only be able to engage the internally facing surface of the drum when the friction material of the friction pad has a thickness suggesting it is worn.

The swing support pin 214 is fitted in a long-hole-shaped pin slide hole 231 formed at a clutch weight 230 to swingably support the clutch weight 230. The plate-side cam body 218 includes a cylindrical roller, and a weight-side cam body 235 of the clutch weight 230 contacts the plate-side cam body 218. The weight-side cam body 235 is formed as such a curved surface that a cam angle when a clutch shoe 233 contacts a cylindrical surface of a clutch outer 240 is the same between before and after abrasion of the clutch shoe 233 progresses.
