COMPACT GEARED REDUCTION UNIT FOR APPLICATION WITH TRANSMISSION SHAFT SUBJECTED TO RADIAL LOADS
A compact geared reduction unit for application with transmission shaft subjected to radial loads, comprising a box-like body inside which a gear system is accommodated for the transmission of rotary motion from a driving shaft to a transmission shaft, which is provided with an output reduction stage of the epicyclic type; the output reduction stage comprises a driving sun gear which rotates about a main axis and a ring gear which is integrally associated with the box-like body, between which multiple planet gears are engaged which are supported in rotation about respective longitudinal axes which are parallel to the main axis by a transmission planet carrier, which in turn rotates about the main axis and is associated so as to be integral in rotation with the transmission shaft at a connection region. The reduction unit furthermore provides for rolling means adapted to support radial loads associated with the transmission shaft.
High efficiency, high output transmission having ease of integration features
A transmission includes an input shaft coupled to a prime mover, a countershaft, main shaft, and an output shaft, with gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. A shift actuator selectively couples the input shaft to the main shaft by rotatably coupling gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. The shift actuator is mounted on an exterior wall of a housing including the countershaft and the main shaft. An integrated actuator housing is operationally coupled to the shift actuator and a linear clutch actuator. The linear clutch actuator is a self-adjusting actuator, and the transmission includes a self-adjusting clutch.
TRANSMISSION MECHANISM
The present invention provides a transmission mechanism that can efficiently lubricate a rotating member with a small amount of a lubricant. The transmission mechanism, which includes a housing, and a first rotating member accommodated in the housing and rotatable about a first rotating member axis, further includes a lubricating member accommodated in the housing and containing a lubricant, wherein while the first rotating member rotates about the lubricating member, the lubricating member applies a preload to and comes into contact with the first rotating member on the basis of an elastic force, so that a part of the first rotating member is lubricated with the lubricant.
Unit-type strain wave gearing device
A unit-type strain wave gearing device provided with a cross roller bearing that supports an internally toothed gear and an externally toothed gear in a state in which both gears can rotate relative to each other, and a meshing section of both gears is lubricated with grease. A gap by which the meshing section and the cross roller bearing raceway groove communicate is formed between the inner ring of the cross roller bearing and the external gear. Due to the pump effect caused by deflection of the external gear, grease is pushed from the meshing section to the gap. Some grease is returned to the inner space of the externally toothed gear via a grease-flowing hole that penetrates the diaphragm of the external gear. Thus, leakage of grease from an oil seal of the cross roller bearing to the unit side can be controlled.
TOROIDAL CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
A toroidal continuously variable transmission including a power roller; a support supporting the power roller rotatably; a thrust bearing receiving a load of the power roller in a direction along a rotating axis; and an oil passage supplying lubricating oil to the thrust bearing. A surface of the power roller opposing the support includes a first bearing grooved and the support opposing the power roller includes a second bearing groove. A virtual axis of a discharge port in the oil passage reaches a bearing groove that is one of the first bearing groove and the second bearing groove. Viewed from a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis, a portion of a retainer located at a radially inner side of a retaining hole of the retainer and a portion located at a radially inner side of the bearing groove are located at sides opposite to each other across the virtual axis.
Energy harvesting device converting multiaxial translational and rotational motion to unidirectional rotational motion
An energy harnessing device for harnessing wave energy that results in pitch, sway, yaw, surge, roll, and heave movement, wherein the device effectively converts multiaxial translational and rotational motion to unidirectional rotational motion for power transmission.
TRANSMISSION MECHANISM
The present invention provides a transmission mechanism with which a deterioration in accuracy can be suppressed and a service life can be increased by suppressing lubricant deterioration. A transmission mechanism is provided with a housing, a first rotating member which is accommodated in the housing and which is capable of rotating about a first rotating member axis, and a lubricant which is accommodated in the housing to lubricate the first rotating member, wherein: the transmission mechanism is additionally provided with a first filter member which is accommodated in the housing to filter out dust contained in the lubricant; the lubricant is agitated by means of the rotation of the first rotating member about the first rotating member axis; and the first filter member is provided in the direction in which the lubricant is caused to flow by means of the agitation from the first rotating member.
Variable speed and reversible dual path fan drive system
A drive system includes a planetary gear set having first and second rotatable input members connected in driven relation with respective first and second power sources, and a rotatable output member connected in driving relation with a working piece, the first and second rotatable input members being connected in differentially rotatable communication with the output member. The input members are operable to vary the rotation and direction of the output member and the connected working piece. In an aspect, the output member is rotatable about an axis for driving the working piece, and the first and second input members are also rotatable about the axis. In a further aspect, the first and second input members include coupling regions for coupling the first and second power sources on-axis with the drive system. In a further aspect, the second power source is a hydraulic input motor concentric with the first input member.
