Hydraulic motor having controlled output based on machine slippage model
A method of managing operation of a machine is described herein. The machine includes drive components that supply a propulsive force exerted by the machine on a traveled surface. The machine includes a programmed controller that controls power output by a motor to the drive components of the machine, in accordance with a slippage model, to actively manage excessive slippage at a physical interface between the machine and the traveled surface. The programmed controller determines a track force indicative of the propulsive force exerted by the machine on the traveled surface. The programmed controller further determines a modeled slippage based, at least in part, upon the track force and the slippage model. The machine conditionally causes a reduction of the power output by the motor based upon a comparison, by the programmed controller, between the modeled slippage and a slippage limit.
Power generating system and hydraulic control system
A hydraulic control system HCS for controlling a variable ratio transmission of a power generating system. A hydraulic motor/pump unit 140 is operably connected to a superposition gear, and is connected to a hydraulic circuit that comprises an orifice 28 and/or a relief valve 29 that opens at a predetermined hydraulic pressure. The hydraulic circuit switches between a variable low-speed operating mode and a torque limiting high-speed operating mode. In the torque limiting high-speed operating mode the hydraulic motor/pump unit 140 is driven by the superposition gear and drives hydraulic fluid through the orifice 28 and/or relief valve 29 to provide a passive torque limiting function. In the variable low-speed operating mode the hydraulic motor/pump unit 140 drives the superposition gear and the hydraulic control system provides a desired rotor 101 speed by controlling hydraulic fluid flow rate through the hydraulic motor/pump unit 140.

An excavator includes a lower travelling body; an upper turning body mounted on the lower travelling body; a hydraulic pump installed in the upper turning body; a travelling hydraulic motor that is a variable displacement type motor configured to move the lower travelling body by being driven by hydraulic oil discharged by the hydraulic pump; and a control device configured to control a motor capacity of the travelling hydraulic motor so as to be switchable between a plurality of levels. The control device switches the motor capacity to a low rotation setting upon detecting that an operation for changing a travelling direction of the lower travelling body is performed.
Traveling control mechanism and traveling control method of hydraulic driving type construction machine
To provide a traveling control mechanism and a traveling control method capable of controlling a traveling mechanism taking into consideration operation contents of a remote control valve. The problem is solved by a traveling control mechanism comprising a remote control valve (21, 22, 23, 24), a pressure adjusting solenoid valve (61, 62), a setting mechanism (70), and a controller (60). The traveling mechanism (8) allows a traveling speed to be switched between a high speed and a low speed in accordance with an operation amount of the remote control valve (21, 22, 23, 24). An HST circuit (30) is provided with a pump (31, 32) and a traveling motor (33), the pump (31, 32) connects to a pilot line (41, 42, 43, 44) allowing a hydraulic oil supplied from the remote control valve (21, 22, 23, 24) to flow therethrough, a pressure sensor (45) is attached to the pilot line (41, 42, 43, 44), and a rotation sensor (65) is attached to the traveling motor (33). The controller (60) controls a pressure of the hydraulic oil supplied from the remote control valve (21, 22, 23, 24) independently of a manual operation of the remote control valve (21, 22, 23, 24), on the basis of a setting signal, a pressure signal, and a rotation speed signal. The remote control valve (21, 22, 23, 24) controls a flow rate of the hydraulic oil discharged from the pump (31, 32) by changing or keeping constant the pressure inside the pilot line (41, 42, 43, 44).

Hydrostatic Traction Drive and Method for Controlling the Hydrostatic Traction Drive
A hydrostatic traction drive includes a first hydraulic machine that is coupled to a drive unit. The first hydraulic machine is hydraulically arranged in a hydraulic circuit with a second hydraulic machine. The second hydraulic machine has a drive shaft that is connected in a rotationally fixed fashion to a lockable differential. The traction drive has a control unit that is configured so as to control at least one measure for traction control as a function of a rotational speed of the second hydraulic machine. The at least one measure includes one or more of a measure for detecting a loss of traction and a measure for overcoming the loss of traction. A method for controlling the traction drive includes eliminating a loss of traction of the traction drive with use of the control unit as a function of the rotational speed of the second hydraulic machine.
