20210317912 · 2021-10-14 ·

A shift mechanism for a gearbox has a shift actuation unit designed to produce an axial shifting motion, at least two selector forks for shifting gear components to shift gears, and at least one shift rod designed to transmit the axial shifting motion from the shift actuation unit to at least one of the at least two selector forks. The coupling mechanisms and the shift rods are positioned to be axially aligned with one another.

Shifting actuator for transmission

A shifting actuator for a transmission includes: a screw shaft; a screw nut which threadedly engages the screw shaft and linearly moves along the screw shaft; a guide for guiding movement of the screw nut; a control finger integrally formed with the screw nut; and a first slider and a second slider, which are disposed parallel to each other and adapted to be selected by the control finger so as to be linearly slidable in an axial direction parallel to a longitudinal direction of the screw shaft.

Apparatus for moving shift rail of transmission

An apparatus for moving a shift rail of a transmission may include a control shaft provided to be moved in a direction perpendicular to a plurality of shift rails by an actuator, a plurality of rollers protruding from one selected among a corresponding one of the shift rails and the control shaft, the rollers being formed on one of facing sides of the shift rail and the control shaft, and a cam protruding in an S-shaped form from a remaining one selected among the corresponding shift rail and the control shaft, on which no roller is formed, the cam being provided to selectively move the shift rails in an axial direction by moving while coming into contact at opposite sides thereof with the rollers depending on a distance by which the control shaft is moved.

More particularly, it relates to an article used in manual transmission gearbox, namely the shifter dog, composition used for manufacturing the shifter dog and a method of manufacturing the shifter dog.

Gearbox

A gearbox (1) is placed in a drive train between an electric motor (12) and an engine (13) of a vehicle. The gearbox (1) is placed in direct connection to an output shaft (2) of the electric motor (12). The gear box (1) has means to place it in three different modes.

COMPLEX RAMP IN VEHICLE SHIFT DRUM
20200240517 · 2020-07-30 ·

A shift drum has a recess which controls a fork to move one of two cooperating coaxially arranged gears for transmitting torque in a power train of a vehicle. The recess includes a straight section, which upon rotation of the shift drum does not move the fork either to the left or the right, and at least one ramp which does move the fork in one direction (i.e., to the left or the right). The ramp is more complex than a single line, such as having a first portion at a first right-shift portion ramp angle and a second portion at a second right-shift portion ramp angle , perhaps with the intersection between the first right-shift portion ramp angle and the second right-shift portion ramp angle being at the mid-line defined by the straight section of the recess.

Shifting mechanism

A shifting mechanism, in which a movable member integrated with an engagement pin will not be rotated by a friction acting between a cam groove and the engagement pin, includes: a shift drum that on which a cam groove is formed; a cam sleeve having an engagement pin inserted into the cam groove; a fork shaft reciprocated between predetermined positions by rotating the shift drum; a support stem extending parallel to a center axis of the cam sleeve; and a projection formed integrally with the cam sleeve to come into contact with the support stem when the cam sleeve is rotated.
