TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE

A transmission system for a hybrid electric vehicle includes a planetary gear mechanism, a gear, a parking lock mechanism, and a resistance imposing device. A parking meshing member of the parking lock mechanism acts so as to switch between a first state where a claw is in mesh with a parking gear and a second state where the claw is out of mesh with the parking gear. The resistance imposing device includes a resistance imposing member configured to impose a rotational resistance on the parking gear or a third rotating element of the planetary gear by coming in contact with the parking gear or the third rotating element. The resistance imposing device is configured to operate the resistance imposing member such that a larger rotational resistance is imposed on the third rotating element in the first state than in the second state.

A parking lock-releasing device for a vehicle, which is capable of improving workability in manually releasing a parking lock while ensuring sealing performance of an outer casing, and easily holding the locking released state. The locking release operation section includes a base having a hollow cylindrical guide portion and concentrically continuous with a front end of the outer casing, with a female screw formed on an inner peripheral surface thereof, and an operating section body which is screwed via a male screw formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof into the female screw of the guide portion, closes the guide portion, holds a front end of the inner cable, and when releasing the locking, is rotatingly operated in a predetermined direction relative to the base, to thereby cause the inner cable to slide to be pulled in the direction away from the parking mechanism.

Securing device for securing a stationary state of an electric vehicle

A securing device for securing a stationary state of an electric vehicle includes a gearshift interlock device and a differential interlock device. The gearshift interlock device has a gearshift interlock drive with a gearshift interlock shaft for driving a gearshift interlock between a gearshift interlock position and a gearshift release position. The differential interlock device has a differential interlock drive with a differential interlock shaft for driving a differential interlock between a differential interlock position and a differential release position. The gearshift interlock shaft and the differential interlock shaft are connected to one another in a drive-transmitting fashion.

PARK LOCK APPARATUS

A park lock apparatus and control unit for a vehicle, the apparatus comprising: a locking member (28, 30; 50) having: a first state arranged to permit independent rotational movement of front and rear drive shafts (20, 22) of the vehicle relative to a fixed position on the vehicle; a second state arranged to prevent independent rotational movement of the front and rear drive shafts of the vehicle relative to the fixed position on the vehicle; and a third state arranged to prevent rotational movement of the front and rear drive shafts of the vehicle relative to the fixed position on the vehicle, and an actuation member (36; 64) for moving the locking member between the first, second and third states.

Vehicle anti-theft device

An anti-theft device 10 is operatively connected to a vehicle drivetrain, downstream of a power plant. To this end, a gear 12 is mounted for rotation together with a driveshaft 13. The device 10 further includes a pivotally mounted locking pawl 17 which is movable relative to the gear 12 between an open position in which a profiled head 18 of the pawl 17 is spaced away from a periphery of the gear 12 such that the gear 12 is permitted to rotate freely together with the driveshaft 13, and a locked position, in which the profiled head 18 of the pawl 17 engages the gear 12 and prevents rotation thereof, thereby locking the driveshaft 13 in position. The device includes an actuator 23 and ECU 22 in a tamper-proof casing 27. The ECU controls engagement of the pawl depending upon a position of a handbrake and ignition switch.

Park release method and vehicle having park release means

A power transmission device includes a planetary gear, a reduction gear connected downstream of the planetary gear, a parking lock mechanism including a parking pawl configured to lock one rotation element of the planetary gear, and a barrier wall positioned between the planetary gear and the reduction gear. The parking pawl is rotatably supported on the barrier wall.

Remotely activated vehicle anti-theft device

A remotely activated vehicle anti-theft device 10 and system 50 for preventing vehicle theft is provided. The device 10 is moved between unlocked, locked and priority locked states using either a wireless vehicle remote 51 or a mobile phone 52. The mobile phone 52 enjoys priority over the remote control 51 and overrides it when the device is in its priority locked state. It includes a pivotal locking member 17 which is movable between an open position (unlocked state) in which the member is spaced away from a gear 12, permitting it to rotate freely, and a locked position (locked and priority locked states), in which the member 17 engages the gear 12 and prevents rotation thereof, thereby immobilising a vehicle. The device 10 includes an ECU 22, wireless communication module 34, actuator 23, GPS 6 and speed sensor 7 housed in a tamper-proof casing 27.

Parking device

A hydraulic unit and an electromagnetic unit are disposed in directions that are orthogonal to each other. The electromagnetic unit is configured such that a solenoid shaft is held when a coil is energized, and such that movement of the solenoid shaft toward the right side in the drawing is allowed during movement of the piston rod when the coil is not energized. When a hydraulic pressure for a piston is reduced with the coil not energized in a parking unlocked state, switching is performed to a parking locked state with a piston rod moved downward in the drawing while moving the solenoid shaft rightward in the drawing through abutment between a roller of a pin of the piston rod and a distal end portion of the solenoid shaft.
