VAPOR LEAKAGE COMPACT SEAL
The invention relates to a shaft seal (1) which is configured to seal a shaft (2) between a coolant side (8) and a dry side (9) in a water pump. The shaft seal (1) is particularly characterized in that a compressible volume compensator (7) for compensating a temperature-dependent volume fluctuation is provided, which is vertically disposed and interacting with the volume of a barrier fluid (6).
DYNAMIC INTERFERENCE SEALING DEVICE AND SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED CONTACT BEHAVIOUR
A sealing system including an annular support, an annular sealing element and an annular shielding element; a first and a second lip of the sealing element interact slidingly with an abutment surface of the shielding element and each include: a root portion which extends perpendicularly in cantilever fashion from a flange portion of the annular support; a flexing portion, which extends in cantilever fashion from the root portion in an oblique direction with a thinner radial thickness, delimited by an annular internal surface facing the abutment surface and by an annular external surface facing towards the support, consisting of surfaces of revolution generated by segments of circumference; and a contact portion including a wedge-shaped overhang and a step portion flanking the overhang, which forms with the abutment surface a first and a second angle (α, β), the first angle facing the annular support and being smaller than the second angle.

OUTER TUBE WITH HOLE COVER
Provided is an outer tube including a solid-shaped male-shaft portion and a bottomed cylindrical female-tube portion integrally formed with the male shaft portion. A hole cover is externally fitted to the female-tube portion and closes a gap between a dash panel separating the vehicle cabin interior and the vehicle cabin exterior of a vehicle body and the outer tube. In an assembled state in the vehicle body, the solid male-shaft portion is arranged in the vehicle cabin exterior, and an opening portion of a slide hole provided in the female-tube portion is arranged in the vehicle cabin interior.
Lip seal
A seal includes an annular body defining a radial direction, an axial direction, and a circumferential direction; and further defines a cross-sectional area including a perimeter. The perimeter may comprise a first axial extremity, a second axial extremity, an outer radial extremity, and an inner radial extremity. The perimeter may include a first axial extremity defining surface and a second axial extremity defining surface, a first concave arcuate surface interposed between the inner radial extremity and the second axial extremity, and a second concave arcuate surface interposed between the outer radial extremity and the second axial extremity.

Lubricating shaft seal assembly
A shaft seal assembly is configured for sealing, for example, a reciprocating axial-movement shaft. The shaft seal assembly includes an annular elastomeric seal body having at least one first sealing surface configured to sealing engage a shaft. A lubricant reservoir body includes a second sealing surface and comprises a polymer matrix having a porous structure containing micro-pores, wherein the micro-pores are filled with lubricating oil.
SEALING DEVICE AND SEALING STRUCTURE
A sealing device for sealing a gap between inner and outer members includes a mounted part attached to a cylindrical end of the outer member; at least one lip disposed radial inside the mounted part and extending toward the inner member; an annular part covering an end surface of the end of the outer member; and an annular flange formed from an elastic material connected to the annular part and disposed radial outside the end of the outer member. The inner member includes an inner portion disposed radial inside the outer member; a flange extending radially outward from the inner portion; and a through-hole formed in the flange for inserting a screw for securing the inner member to another member. The outer edge of the flange of the sealing device is disposed radial outside a portion of the through-hole that is the closest to the central axis.
PRESSURE-MEDIUM-ACTUATED BRAKE CYLINDER OF A RAIL VEHICLE
A pressure-medium-actuated brake cylinder of a rail vehicle has a housing, a translationally movable brake piston rod extending through a bore in a housing base, a guide ring which is received in the bore, encloses the brake piston rod and is intended for guiding the brake piston rod in the bore, and at least one sealing ring which is received in the bore, encloses the brake piston rod and is intended for sealing an interior of the housing with respect to a space outside the housing, wherein the guide ring and the at least one sealing ring are designed as a guide and sealing ring combined to form a structural unit.
