Desalination device with graphene filtering for the production of drinking water
The invention relates to an anti-blocking seawater desalination device based on graphene filtering, comprising heating device, solar heat-collecting device, fresh water condensation heat-exchange device and thermal-expansion and cold-shrinkage control valve mechanism; the heating device can fully heat and distill seawater, the sprayed seawater is distilled by graphene heat-conduction layers to improve the distillation efficiency and avoiding blocking; the distilled water vapor enters into fresh water condensation heat-exchange device to exchange heat with seawater, increasing the seawater temperature, making full use of the heat in water vapor, and increasing water vapor condensation speed; the distilled concentrated seawater enters into the thermal-expansion and cold-shrinkage control valve mechanism, the flow of seawater entering into the heating device is controlled by the concentrated seawater temperature, when the temperature is too high, the flow of the seawater entering into the heating device increases, and when the temperature is too low, the flow decreases.
Gate valve including valve bore assembly
A gate valve including a valve body, a gate assembly, an operating end, a balancing end, and a valve bore assembly. The valve bore assembly includes two sets of components positioned on either side of the gate assembly to maintain the axial alignment of the gate assembly within the valve body during actuation between an open configuration and a closed configuration.
Valve position sensing using electric and magnetic coupling
A system and method for identifying a position of a sliding sleeve. The system may comprise an outer housing, a sliding sleeve within the outer housing, one or more magnetic switches, and a magnet. A method may comprise closing a switch within a magnetic switch disposed with a magnet, wherein the magnetic switch is disposed downhole, and transmitting an electric current into a first electric branch, wherein the electric current traverses through first electric branch, through the magnetic switch, to a second electric branch, and to a node. The method may further comprise measuring the electric current or voltage at the node and identifying a position of a sliding sleeve in an outer housing from the measurement. The method may further comprise calibrating a linear resistor position sensor assembly based at least in part on the measurement.

Valve with expandable sleeve fitted over perforated walls of inlet and outlet channels to control flow therebetween
A valve features an outer housing, in which there are provided inlet and outlet channels respectively reaching into the housing from inlet and outlet openings thereof. The two channels are axially closed at adjacent inner ends thereof, but feature perforated circumferential walls. A resiliently expandable sleeve is disposed around the circumferential walls in a position normally overlying the perforations, while leaving a gap between the sleeve and inner surfaces of the housing. A charging port communicates with the gap to enable pressurization thereof. Pressurization of the gap normally holds the sleeve tightly over the perforations to prevent flow from one channel to the other. When pressure in the inlet channel exceeds the pressure in the charging chamber, the sleeve radially expands from the circumferential walls of the channels to uncover the perforations and allow fluid to flow between the channels.
Hydraulic switch
The present invention relates to a hydraulic switch arrangement and a fluid switch for incorporating into a hydraulic switch arrangement that may be included in a hydraulic circuit for inhibiting flow of hydraulic fluid through a hydraulic circuit in the event of movement of an apparatus or platform from a stable to an unstable condition. Such platforms or apparatus may include for example, cranes, excavators, teletrucks and forklift trucks and roll over incidents of such machinery is common leading to numerous fatalities. Aspects of the present invention ensure fast switching in the event of a transfer from a stable to an unstable condition.
Flow control module
A flow control module is provided. The flow control module includes a housing as well as an on/off solenoid assembly and a proportional solenoid assembly mounted to the housing. A flow body is situated within the housing and is interposed between the on/off solenoid assembly and the proportional solenoid assembly. The flow body provides for flow management of a flow of fluid through the housing.
OVERMOLDED OR PRESSED-IN SLEEVE FOR HYDRAULIC ROUTING OF SOLENOID
A valve having a metal insert with a fluid passage formed in the metal insert. A composite valve body is disposed at least partially around the metal insert and having at least one port in fluid communication with the fluid passage with the metal insert. A valve member is partially disposed in the metal insert and operable to control the fluid flow through the fluid passage of the metal insert and parts of the valve body.
Circumferentially-sectioned valve cages
Circumferentially-sectioned valve cages are disclosed. An example apparatus comprises a plurality of cage sections collectively configured to be removably coupled together to form a valve cage having a circumference and a plurality of joints. The joints correspond in number to the cage sections and are spaced apart from one another about the circumference. Respective ones of the joints are defined by neighboring ones of the cage sections.
