Thermostatic valve for a fluid flow circuit, and method for producing such a thermostatic valve
11402025 · 2022-08-02 · ·

A valve with a sleeve movable along its central axis regulates fluid flow between the orifices of a housing for the valve. The valve has a thermost including heat-sensitive and movable parts, the latter being translatable relative to the heat-sensitive part along the central axis during expansion of a thermodilatable material contained in the heat-sensitive part. The thermostat is kinematically connected to the housing by a stirrup and kinematically connected to the sleeve, such that movements between the heat-sensitive and movable parts regulate the sleeve. In order for the valve to be more compact and safer, the stirrup has an arm extending lengthwise parallel to the central axis and connecting inside the sleeve the heat-sensitive part to an attachment part of the housing, and a fastener at its longitudinal end opposite the thermostat suitable for locking to the attachment part by plastic deformation.

The valve seat surface holds a fluid tight condition between the valve seat surface and the valve main body when it is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the valve main body. A biasing member biases the valve seat unit in such a way that the valve seat surface is pushed to the outer peripheral surface of the valve main body. The cylindrical passage member includes a groove formed in an inner peripheral surface thereof at least in a part of an overlapping area, at which the cylindrical passage member and the positioned member overlap each other in the axial direction. The groove is recessed in a radial-outward direction from the inner peripheral surface.

A pressure relief valve includes a hollow body having an inlet and an outlet, with the hollow body including at least one aperture extending through a surface of the hollow body. An actuator assembly is attached to the hollow body and a sleeve is slideably positioned about the hollow body, with the sleeve moveably attached to the actuator assembly. During operation, the actuator assembly moves the sleeve from a first position that covers the aperture to a second position that un-covers at least a portion of the aperture.

INTERFLOW LIMITING VALVE ASSEMBLY

A sleeve for a valve assembly has an annular body with an inside surface extending from a first axial sleeve-end to a second axial sleeve-end. The inside surface has a first cylindrical section and a second cylindrical section with a conical interior seating surface extending therebetween. A groove extends circumferentially around and radially outward in the first cylindrical section and axially away from the conical interior seating surface towards the first axial sleeve-end. The sleeve includes one or more first ports that extend radially through the first cylindrical section and spaced apart from the groove. The one or more first ports are spaced apart from the groove by a lip formed by the first cylindrical section. The lip extends continuously and entirely circumferentially around the first cylindrical surface and extends a predetermined axial distance between the groove and the one or more first ports.
