Valve device
A valve device includes: a valve having a ball surface having a convex spherical shape, and a first opening opened in the ball surface to allow fluid to pass through; and a seat having an annular shape and opposing the ball surface to be in sliding contact, the seat being pressed against the ball surface, the seat having a second opening to communicate with the first opening. The seat has a sealing surface in a sliding contact with the ball surface at a valve closed time when the ball surface and the second opening overlap with each other, and a seat contact surface in a sliding contact with an opening inner wall surface or an opening end surface of the first opening at a valve opened time when the first opening and the second opening overlap with each other.
COOLANT VALVE FOR A VEHICLE
Coolant valve for a vehicle includes a housing having a plurality of coolant ports, a valve element arranged in an adjustable manner in the housing in order to connect or disconnect coolant ports, and at least one seal arrangement. The seal arrangement bears in a sealing manner against the housing on one side and in a sealing manner against the valve element on the other side, the seal arrangement having a carrier element made of a first material and a sealing element made of a second material, the second material being softer than the first material. The sealing element has a first sealing lip bearing against the valve element and the carrier element having a supporting portion. The first sealing lip protrudes beyond the supporting portion with a free end, and the first sealing lip is pressed against the supporting portion when coolant flows through the coolant valve.
SEALING ASSEMBLY FOR BALL VALVES AND BALL VALVE COMPRISING SUCH A SEALING ASSEMBLY
The present invention relates to sealing valves used in the petroleum and gas extraction industry, in particular but not exclusively, to medium- or high-pressure ball valves. In particular, the present invention relates to a sealing assembly (101, 102) for ball valves (1), and to a ball valve comprising such an improved sealing assembly. The sealing assembly ensures excellent sealing performance at low and high pressures by exclusively using a thermoplastic material sealing element (31), thus completely eliminating the drawbacks which afflict the sealing system of known type, in particular in relation to the reliability of the sealing elements made of elastomeric material.
Valve seats, valve assemblies, and related methods
Valve seats may include an insert and a housing. The insert may comprise a first material and the housing may comprise a second material. The second material of the housing may exhibit a hardness that is greater than a hardness of the first material of the insert. Valve assemblies and related method may include valve seats.
Valve
Valve comprising a valve body having an upstream conduit for the inflow of a fluid and a downstream conduit for the outflow of a fluid, said conduits being substantially aligned along a longitudinal axis (X-X), a rotative ball controlling the fluid passage and having a cavity with axis perpendicular to its rotating axis (Y-Y), a first upstream seat operating in conjunction with said upstream conduit and said rotative ball, a first downstream seat operating in conjunction with said downstream conduit and said rotative ball, a second downstream seat axially arranged between said first downstream seat and said downstream conduit, and an intermediate element axially arranged between said first downstream seat and said second downstream seat and axially moveable between said first downstream seat and said second downstream seat.
Dual face-type seat seal arrangement for valve applications
In one aspect, this disclosure relates to a seat seal assembly for a valve. In another aspect, this disclosure relates to a gate valve or a ball valve including the seat seal assembly. In another aspect, this disclosure relates to a method of manufacturing a valve including the disclosed seat seal assembly.
Seal and Fluid Valve
A seal for use in a fluid control valve includes: a first, elastically deformable, plastic part; and a second plastic part configured as a hard seal element and connected to the first plastic part. The first and the second plastic parts form a seal assembly having a first frontal end configured to bear in a sealing manner on an actuatable valve body of the fluid control valve, and a second frontal end configured to bear in a sealing manner on a valve housing of the fluid control valve, wherein at least the first frontal end has a first end side having an encircling projecting bead configured to seal against the actuatable valve body.
Actuator Assembly for a Fluid Control Device
A fluid control device includes a body having an inlet, an outlet, and a fluid flow path between the inlet and the outlet, a seat, and a control element that is coupled to a stem. The control element and the stem are movable along a first axis and biased toward a closed position in which the control element engages the seat. The fluid control device includes an actuator assembly including a shaft that is operatively coupled to the stem via a Scotch yoke mechanism such that rotation of the shaft in a first rotational direction causes movement of the stem and control element along the first axis in a first translational direction. The actuator assembly includes a trigger mechanism that is responsive to fluid pressure and prevents rotation of the shaft in a first mode of operation and releases the shaft to allow rotation in a second mode of operation.
Seal Assembly and Fluid Regulating Valve
A seal arrangement for use in a fluid control valve includes: a first seal configured to sealingly abut against an actuatable valve body of the fluid control valve; a second seal configured to sealingly abut against a valve housing of the fluid control valve; and an elastically deformable intermediate spacer, arranged between the first seal and the second seal and configured to elastically space the first and second seals apart. At least in an installed state of the seal arrangement in the fluid control valve, the first seal and the second seal are joined to one another in positively locking fashion in an axial direction of the seal arrangement.
SEAL AND REGULATOR VALVE
The present disclosure discloses a seal and a regulating valve having the seal. The seal is used for sealing a flow channel between a pipe orifice of a housing and a valve body in the regulating valve. The seal includes an elastic member and an embedded member. The elastic member is ring-shaped, the embedded member is at least partially embedded in the elastic member, and the hardness of the embedded member is greater than that of the elastic member. The seal of the present disclosure has a simple structure, which not only enables miniaturization of the structure of the regulating valve, but also can simplify assembly steps of the regulating valve, thus facilitating assembly automation of the regulating valve.
