Coaxial gas valve assemblies including electronically controlled solenoids
A coaxial gas valve assembly includes a gas inlet, a gas outlet, a valve tube, and a shaft member. A main valve is movable between a closed position and an open position (broadly, openable and closable). A main spring is positioned to resiliently bias the main valve in its closed position. A redundant valve is movable between a closed position and an open position (broadly, openable and closable). A redundant spring is positioned to resiliently bias the redundant valve in its closed position. A solenoid coil is positioned to electromagnetically move the shaft member within the valve tube. A balance diaphragm is connected to the valve tube. A gas path through at least the valve tube allows gas flow from a first side of the balance diaphragm to a second side of the balance diaphragm to reduce a pressure difference between the first and second sides of the balance diaphragm.
TWO-STAGE VALVE ASSEMBLY
The two-stage valve assembly for a vehicle lift system comprises an outer sleeve extending along an axis between a first end and a second end. A stator is located in the first end and a valve opening is located in the second end. The two-stage valve assembly includes an armature assembly for selectively closing the valve opening and opening the valve opening in a first-stage open position and a second-stage open position. The armature assembly comprises a plunger moveable along the axis that includes a poppet portion having a poppet seal oriented towards the second end. A plunger seat is moveable along the axis and located between the poppet portion and the valve opening. The plunger seat includes a seat seal for sealing against the valve opening. A seat channel extends through the seat seal and the plunger seat and is in fluid communication with the valve opening.

A valve arrangement for a switching valve and to a switching valve for regulating a mass flow in a refrigerating circuit or a heating circuit, including a valve housing, which includes a feed opening and a discharge opening, including a valve piston, which includes a valve-closing member, which buts against a through-hole between the feed opening and the discharge opening in a closed position on a valve seat and closes the through-hole, wherein the valve seat includes a stop surface and a sealing surface which are oriented so as to be adjacent to one another, the valve-closing member includes a supporting surface and a gasket surface which are oriented so as to be adjacent to one another, an elastic sealing element is provided on the valve seat or the valve-closing member, on which sealing element the sealing surface or gasket surface is formed, a sealing projection is provided on the sealing surface or the gasket surface and is oriented towards the opposite gasket surface or sealing surface, the supporting surface of the valve-closing member and the stop surface of the valve seat but against one another in the closed position and form a travel limitation between the valve-closing member and the valve seat, and the sealing projection is at least partially pressed into the sealing element.
Valve Assembly and Method
A method for assembling a valve is disclosed. The valve includes a first fluid port, a second fluid port, a fluid path providing fluid communication therebetween, a moveable member, a biasing member and a pressure compensation membrane. The method includes the steps of providing a base member comprising an abutment for receiving a first of the biasing member and the pressure compensation membrane; assembling the biasing member and the pressure compensation membrane with the base member; and affixing a fixing member to the base member to retain the biasing member and the pressure compensation membrane between the fixing member and the abutment.

The solenoid valve includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet, a flow cross-section formed between the inlet and the outlet, a valve seat which surrounds the flow cross-section, a valve unit having an axial contact surface, a coupling member, and a control body, an electromagnetic actuator having an armature with a first axial end which bears against the axial contact surface of the valve unit, a second axial end, and an axial through bore through which the coupling member of the valve unit projects so as to be movable with the armature, and a fastening element which bears on the second axial end of the armature and which is fixedly connected to the coupling member of the valve unit. The valve unit is set down on the valve seat and is lifted from the valve seat.

A stator provided at a position facing an opening of a housing member. The stator includes a conical protrusion portion and a side surface made from a magnetic body. The side surface extends from an outer periphery of the reduced diameter portion in a direction away from the opening of the housing member. Also included is a yoke with a fixation hole having an inner peripheral surface to which a part of the side surface portion of the stator is fixed. A non-contact portion, where the yoke and the side surface portion are out of contact with each other, is formed on the housing member side of the fixation hole. Also included is a non-magnetic connection member joined by being heated between the housing member and the yoke, and a movable element provided axially movably in the housing member and made from a magnetic body.

A method for producing one or more concave cut-outs on a main body, which is in particular substantially cylindrical, more particularly one or more grooves on a magnetic armature, a push rod, or a magnetic keeper plate, includes the following steps: providing a main body, which is in particular substantially cylindrical and has a first axis of rotation, rotating the cylindrical main body around the first axis of rotation in a first rotational direction by means of a lathe, and rotating a striking tool, which is provided with a number of fly cutters, around a second axis of rotation, which extends in parallel and offset in relation to the first axis of rotation in a second rotational direction, which is opposite to the first rotational direction, in such a way that the fly cutter engages in a material-removing manner in the main body to produce the cut-out.

A valve device for a hydraulic circuit includes an actuator unit comprising an electromagnetic circuit which comprises an armature, a core, a coil carrier, a coil, and a flux guiding device. A valve unit comprises a unit formed by a valve tappet and the armature, inlet and outlet ports, and a control port arranged between the inlet and outlet ports. A longitudinal through bore is arranged in the unit to extend from the inlet port into an actuator chamber. A first control body cooperating with a first valve seat and a second control body cooperating with a second valve seat are arranged at the unit in which the longitudinal through bore is formed. The armature and the valve tappet are loaded in an opening direction of the inlet valve by a spring element and are loadable in an opening direction of the outlet port by energizing the electromagnetic circuit.

An electromagnetic valve for an internal combustion engine includes a housing, an electromagnetic actuator arranged in the housing, the electromagnetic actuator having an electromagnetic armature and a core, a control element which is arranged to protrude axially out of the housing and which is connected to the electromagnetic armature so as to form a movable unit together therewith, the movable unit having a radial recess, and an arrangement which delimits an axial movement of the movable unit away from the core of the electromagnetic actuator. The arrangement includes at least one hook arranged on the housing. The at least one hook engages into the radial recess of the movable unit.
Fuel metering valve and method of managing fuel in a metering valve
A fuel metering valve includes a main flow path extending axially between an inlet and an outlet. Also included is a plunger disposed around a portion of a plunger guide, the plunger and the plunger guide configured to translate between an open position and a closed position to selectively distribute a fuel flowing through the main flow path to the outlet of the fuel metering valve. Further included is a solenoid coil disposed between a solenoid outer body and a solenoid inner body, the solenoid coil configured to magnetically attract the plunger to the open position. Yet further included is a secondary flow path for routing a stagnant volume of fuel upon translation of the plunger from the closed position to the open position.
