Fluid flow measuring and control devices and method
There is described a fluid flow measuring and control device for installation within plumbing. The device comprises a main flow channelling system having an inlet and an outlet for connection to the plumbing, and a bypass channelling system in parallel from the main flow channelling system. A flowmeter is provided in the bypass channelling system for measuring the fluid flow in the bypass channelling system and thereby estimating the fluid flow at the inlet or at the outlet of the main flow channelling system. The flowmeter may comprise a wheel and a pair of movement sensors. A valve such as a solenoid valve can be provided as an on/off control for the plumbing. Using a microcontroller, the device can identify which appliance is used and determine consumption, or detect abnormal use or leaks and close the valve and/or notify a user mobile device.
Method and device for treating solid-fluid mixtures
A laminar stream reactor for the production of hydrochar of a solid-fluid mixture of water and a carbon-containing component, wherein the solid-fluid mixture is treated at a temperature of 100-300° C. and a pressure of 5-70 bar, consists of tubular reactor units of largely vertical holding sections (1,3) and direction-changing diverters (2,4). The holding sections are thereby flown through slower by the solid-fluid mixture than the remaining tube distances, as they have larger diameters.
Valve assembly for an electronic faucet
An electronic faucet includes a spout, a fluid supply conduit supported by the spout, and a valve assembly including an electrically operable valve. A controller is coupled to the valve assembly and includes a processor operative to control the electrically operable valve to control fluid flow through the fluid supply conduit. The controller includes a port in communication with the processor, the port being releasably coupled to electronics of a secondary device.
MULTIPLE FUNCTION SHOWER SYSTEMS FACILITATING LOW ACTUATION FORCE MODE SWITCHING
A shower system includes a showerhead, which includes a first diverter that is configured to deliver water to a plurality of showerhead outlets. The first diverter is actuatable to change a showerhead water discharge mode of the plurality of showerhead outlets. A diverter actuator is actuatable to actuate the first diverter and thereby change the showerhead water discharge mode of the plurality of showerhead outlets. The shower system further includes a handshower, which includes a second diverter that is configured to deliver water to a plurality of handshower outlets. The second diverter is actuatable to change a handshower water discharge mode of the plurality of handshower outlets. The shower system further includes a user interface that is configured to be actuated by a user to selectively and independently (1) deliver water from the handshower to the diverter actuator to actuate the diverter actuator, and (2) actuate the second diverter.
Valve system and method
A valve system includes a handle shell, an airtight seat, an underwater seat, a sealing deformation, a shell, a manual switch and a lower cover. The handle shell may include a touch/induction switch to control the system for adjusting temperature in ceramic valve core with a touch. The system may include two mode of operation, an induction control mode and a manual control mode. The induction control mode may be enabled when a touch/induction switch inlet is coupled to the lower cover and a first water inlet and a second water inlet. The induction controls the opening and closing of the push rod. Further, the manual control mode may be enabled when a manual switch is coupled to the first water inlet and a second water inlet. The manual operation controls the opening and closing of the push rod.
INSTALLATION INTEGRITY DETECTOR FOR SOLENOID VALVE
A solenoid valve can include a valve body and an actuator. The actuator can include an actuator housing, a coil disposed in the actuator housing and a core tube extending from the valve body through and beyond the actuator housing when the actuator is properly installed on the valve body. A monitoring assembly can include a target on the core tube and a detector configured to detect the target when the actuator is properly installed on the valve body and/or core tube.
Adapter element with integrated water turbine generator
An adapter element for a solenoid valve assembly in an irrigation system includes an integral water turbine generator including an impeller positioned in an outlet flow path of a solenoid assembly thereof such that the impeller rotates when water flows to generate electricity.
Fluid valve assembly, process valve positioner and use of a fluid valve assembly in control of a process valve
A fluid valve assembly having a central bore and a stem axially-movable within the central bore and actuated by an axial pilot force and an axial counter force. An inner supply pressure chamber is provided to retain a stabilized supply pressure providing the axial counter force affecting on the stem. A seal member is arranged coaxially with the stem between the inner supply pressure chamber and an outer supply pressure chamber which is connected to a supply pressure input line. A metering edge is arranged coaxially with the stem to control fluid flow from the outer supply pressure chamber to an actuator chamber. Means are provided to stabilize the supply pressure in the inner chamber against sudden pressure drops in the outer supply pressure chamber.
Flush valve
A flush valve has a valve body, a relief assembly, and a solenoid valve assembly. The valve body has a flushing tube. The solenoid valve assembly has a seal, an assembling mount, a solenoid valve, and a power supply. The seal is disposed between a diaphragm of the relief assembly and an intake end of the flushing tube. The assembling mount has a disk. A first reserving space is formed between the disk and the relief assembly. The solenoid valve is assembled to the assembling mount. A second reserving space is formed between the solenoid valve and the assembling mount and communicates with the first reserving space. The solenoid valve has a blocking unit to prevent the first reserving space and the second reserving space from communicating with each other. The power supply is electrically connected to the solenoid valve.
Solenoid and method of manufacture
A solenoid is provided having an improved connection arrangement. The solenoid includes external wires that are coupled to internal solenoid components via terminals. Further, a sealed solenoid is provided having a housing overmolded onto a solenoid subassembly. External wires can be coupled to the solenoid after overmolding. The solenoid may also include a cavity for receiving at least one of electrical component. The solenoid may also include a powdered metal core.
