CIPP liner reel system
A CIPP liner reel system for managing the utilization and deployment of CIPP liners. The CIPP liner reel system generally includes a frame connected to a reel and drive unit. The drive unit is connected to the reel to control the rotation of its core. This core contains an opening that provides access to a connector unit within the core. This connector unit can be used to connect the reel to the end of a CIPP liner using a strap. Rotation of the core causes CIPP liner to wind on to or unwind from the reel. The reel may also contain a left guide member and a right guide member to assist in controlling the process of winding and unwinding the CIPP liner. The frame may also include a tractor connector that enables the CIPP liner reel system to be coupled to and transported by a tractor without affecting its operation.
PIPE RENOVATION FILTRATION SYSTEM
A filtration system is used with a pipe repair system, such as a cured-in-place pipe lining system. Before, during, and/or after the repair of the pipe with the pipe lining system, air from inside the pipe is directed into a filtration system. The filtration system removes contaminants, such as VOCs and other harmful gases, particles, and the like, with a filter, and then the filtered air is exhausted from the system. The filter can be a carbon filter or other filter that can remove harmful or hazardous materials and particles from the air prior to exhaust. The air is also sensed to acquire information, such as temperature, pressure, composition, flow, or the like.
Underground pipe repair device with annular spacer and related systems and methods
An underground pipe repair device is for a joint between a service pipe and a branch pipe. The underground pipe repair device may include a first T-shaped joint liner having a base portion extending laterally in the service pipe, and an arm portion extending vertically into the branch pipe. The underground pipe repair device may also include an annular body aligned with and being radially spaced from an opening for the branch pipe and coupled to the first T-shaped joint liner for enabling reinstatement of the branch pipe opening without damaging a liner in the service pipe or the first T-shaped joint liner.
Liner for lateral pipe line
Systems and methods for forming and deploying a pipe liner in a pipe main having a service lateral. The line is formed from three pieces of material. The piece of material forming the front top and of the main liner and the front of the lateral line has a cutout at the joint to reduce bunching, which can result in non-uniform liner thickness and may form obstructions at the joint.
Apparatus and Method for In-Situ Fabrication of Bi-Layer Composite Pipe By Deformation Manufacture of Compression-Fit, Shape Memory Polymer Pipe (SMPP) Mechanically United With Host Pipe
A method and apparatus for lining a host pipe with a shape memory polymer liner in which the liner is fed through a manufacturing assembly including a pipe tensioner, followed by a deformation tool, prior to entering the host pipe, the liner being pulled through the host pipe from a leading end, the component parts of the manufacturing assembly acting to temporarily reduce the liner outside diameter during the pulling operation, while allowing the liner to revert to at least the internal diameter of the host pipe upon removal of the pulling load. The liner being used is a shape memory polymer which exhibits the ability to return from a deformed shape to an original shape induced by an external stimulus.
Method and System for Lining Pipes
A method and system for inserting a liner and lining pipes from inside a water main or other larger pipe. The method and system generally includes inserting a string inside the first pipe between a first end and a second end, inserting the string through a liner positioning tool, attaching a first end of the string to the liner, and then pulling the liner into the first pipe with the first string such that the liner extends from the first end to the second end of the pipe. One end of the string may be attached to the liner by a pulling insert, which may be a threaded insert that screws into an end of the liner, and which may further include a fluid passage to allow hot water or other fluid to flow through the insert while the string is connected to it.
FLUOROPOLYMER PIPE
The present invention pertains to a pipe comprising at least one layer at least comprising, preferably consisting essentially of (or being made of), a tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) copolymer comprising from 0.8% to 2.5% by weight of recurring units derived from at least one perfluorinated alkyl vinyl ether having formula (I) here below: CF.sub.2=CFORf (I) wherein R.sub.f is a linear or branched C.sub.3-C.sub.5 perfluorinated alkyl group or a linear or branched C.sub.3-C.sub.12 perfluorinated oxyalkyl group comprising one or more ether oxygen atoms, said TFE copolymer having a melt flow index comprised between 0.5 and 6.0 g/10 min, as measured according to ASTM D1238 at 372 C. under a load of 5 Kg [polymer (F)]. The invention also pertains to use of said pipe in heat exchangers and in downhole operations including drilling operations.

Insertion method for rehabilitation tubular liner in pipes and pipelines
A method and apparatus for inserting a tubular liner impregnated with a hardening resin into the conduits or pipes to be rehabilitated is disclosed. The apparatus is a tool comprising a cylindrical segment and a conical segment, the cylindrical segment and the conical segment connected together to form a passageway adapted to guide a tubular liner inside a host pipe.
